Cars you want to see in DLC?

If I had to keep it to a minimum I would pick cars which complete certain groups of cars to allow period correct classic racing:

Aston Martin DB4GT - 1963
Jaguar E Type Factory Lightweight Race Car - 1963-64
TVR Griffith Series 200 - 1964
AC Cobra / Shelby Cobra Mark 2 (289) - 1963

Ford GT40 Mark 2 - 1966 (Le Mans Winner 1966)
Ferrari 250 LM - 1963 - 66 (Le Mans Winner 1965)

The above would be my dream 1960's race car DLC pack - (ideally include the nearest equivalent road car versions as well)

AC Ace Bristol 1957 - to be a competitor for the Maserati A6GS which won the Gran Turismo Trophy at Pebble Beach

Jaguar D Type - 1954-7 (Le Mans winner 1955 - 56 - 57)
Maserati 300S - 1954-58
Maserati 450S - 1956 - 58
Aston Martin DBR1 - 1956-59 (Le Mans winner 1959)
Mercedes Benz 300 SLR - 1955
Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa 1958

The above would be my dream 1950's race car DLC pack - sadly the beautiful and very fast 1950's race cars are missing from the game - a major omission in my view.

Classic Mini Cooper - 1962 (BSCC winner 1962)
Hillman Imp - 1963-76 (BSCC winner 1970, 71, 72)
Ford Anglia 105E - 1959-68
Ford Cortina Lotus Mark 1 - 1964 (BSCC winner 1964)
Ford Galaxie - 1963 (BSCC winner 1963)
Jaguar MK2 - 1959-67

The above would be my dream 1960's saloon race car and road car pack and would enable the recreation of classic race and rally events.

Cars at present often seem to be chosen at random without any thought as to how they will be fitted into race series by the online community or put into logical, but interesting career events in the game - obviously an event creator may be necessary to group cars together to obtain historically accurate events and interesting matchups.

I could make entire packs of DLC cars that I want (for many reasons):

Nurburgring 24 Pack (because the Schulze GT-R could use some rivals)
  • Lexus LF-A N24 (Gazoo Racing) 2014
  • Aston Martin V12 Zagato 2012
  • BMW Z4 M Coupe N24 Race Car 2009
Super GT300 Pack (because you can never have enough of them)
  • Toyota MR-S GT300 2007
  • Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33) GT300 2009
  • Honda CR-Z Hybrid GT300 2013
  • Toyota Corolla Axio GT300 2011
  • Subaru Legacy B4 GT300 2011
2014 GT500 Pack (because the Toyota FT-1 VGT looks like a new GT500 car)
  • Lexus RC-F GT500 2014
  • Nissan GT-R (R35) GT500 2014
  • Honda NSX GT Concept 2014
DTM Pack (because the new GT500s are basically DTMs)
  • Audi RS5 DTM 2014
  • BMW M3 DTM 2013
  • BMW M4 DTM 2014
  • Mercedes C-Class Coupe DTM 2014
World GT Pack (because just having GT3s is boring)
  • Mosler MT900M 2009
  • Chevrolet Corvette C6.R (GT1) 2011
  • Aston Martin DBR9 2010
  • Mercedes-Benz CLR 1999
  • Lister Storm GT 2004
  • Nissan GT-R (R35) GT1
Le Mans GT Pack (because the M3 GT2 isn't enough)
  • Ferrari 458 GTC 2011
  • BMW Z4 GTE 2013
  • SRT Viper GTS-R 2014
  • Lotus Evora GTE 2011
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE
It's a long list, but those cars will add more variety to those classes. I personally like those cars as well.

How about an open-wheel pack or two? I don't have a clue as to who has the rights for any of these cars and tracks but heh, I'll go for it anyway:

Open-wheel car pack
Spark Renault SRT_01E '14
Dallara GP2/11 '11
Dallara DW12 '12
Dallara IL 15 '15
Swift Engineering SF13 '13
Lola Cars B05/52 '05
McLaren-Mercedes MP4-20 '05

Open-wheel racetrack pack
Circuit de Catalunya
Indianapolis Road Course '14
Circuit Paul Ricard (various layouts)
Long Beach Street Circuit (IndyCar, Formula E layouts)
Milwaukee Mile
Pocono Raceway
Sonoma Raceway (Infineon)
Houston Street Circuit

Call me odd, but I really want one of these...

CheckerCab_zps10b9795b.jpg

Aye. A DLC Pack with that one, the Caprice in at least the last 2 generations, various Plymouths etc, a few Ford LTDs and make it a "Taxi DLC" but also include plain jane versions. I'd LOVE to take those old sedans down the Nordschleife, rockers scraping the poavent etc.....BWAHAHAHAAA!!!!

I'd these, without giving a lot of thought. lol

1955/57 Ford Thunderbird
1964 Ford Thunderbolt
!969 Ford Talladega Torino
1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302/429
1955/57 Chevy Bel Air
1965 Chevy Impala SS
1967 Corvette Stingray
1969 Chevy Malibu SS 396
1970 Buick Skylark GS Stage II
1969 Pontiac GTO "The Judge"
1968 Plymouth Road Runner

And a few missing FF cars I liked

1985 Dodge Charger Shelby Turbo
1986 Dodge Omni GLHS
!992 Dodge IROC Daytona R/T
2005 Chevy Cavalier Z24 Supercharged
1984 Volkswagon Rabbit GTI
1989/90 Lotus Elan

non FF the 1985 Toyota Supra, I know there's one close but it isn't this one.

Come on PD here is your chance to make your mark on the gaming industry, the 2016 Bathurst 12 hour has just been run and won and all but one of your cars ( the Nissan ) are not in your game. And it's the slowest gt3 car in the game. How about updating the gt3 cars, new Audi gt3 , new Mercedes gt3, Bentley gt3, Ferrari 488 gt3, bmw m4 gt3, Nissan gt3, mclaren gt3, Porsche gt3, you missed the boat with v8 Supercars , people want to race current cars not old ones. Gt academy is your baby, please do something about it , breath some life into the game,

In all fairness, there are a LOT of cars already in GT6.
I hear people say that to be a winner, GT7 must have more cars in it.
I'm amused by that remark; is it really the case that GT6 doesn't have enough cars!?
What do people need to be satisfied these days ?
I want to see Rovers, Rolls Royces etc, but that's personal choice.
How can PD please everyone? Include every car that's ever been made!?
I do want to see some cars that aren't yet in the game, but I realise that's my personal desire and that game is actually pretty full of cars already.
