CD Writer problem

Yesterday I just burned a CD for my sister and it read and played perfectly fine. Later that day I tried and it doesn't read at all it read a few songs then as each track progressed it started skipping and cracking and then eventually not read at all. I went through 5-6 blank CDs testing it using diff programs and the same results surface. Really, WTF!

I had that with my car stereo. Turned out that the disks were just getting dirty before they went into the tray. It could also be low quality disks
 
I was using the same disks so if there was a problem with them it would have happened with the blank CD I used for my sister's CD.
 
Nevermind, I slowed down the writing speed and upped the quality of the writing and now it works.
