What do you think of the new zelda game for gamecube "celda"

I can't wait for this to come out. At first I was surprised at the use of cel shaded graphics, but after seeing the results, you just can't beat the amount of detail they can get with the style.
Too many people were put off after seeing an early tech Demo of Zelda in action featuring the GC hardware, but that was just a demo intended to show off various effects. (Much like the FFVI charaters in early N64 screenshots.)

I loved the old Zelda and although this may take more work to make, i really think it is a step-down for Zelda.

I dont know about that one Dodge, I do think they can do better but the real step down is the story line. If you havent heard it is a giant bird taking away links sister and you have to go find her. I think they should make a more stable story line, which by now will be almost impossible to fix, for example if link was hyrulian in the previous titles, how come all of a sudden he grew up in in the forest in Ocarina of time and in majoras mask he was still a child and now in celda it seems the story has either started over or it will be a prequel. I think the primary reason for all the fuss on the new look and even the storyline is that people forget about the main part of zelda and thats the challenging puzzles.

oh and btw, The Legends of Zelda has some good things about how all the games fit together

I don't really care, Zelda 1 and 2 were the best, no other Zelda games will beat those two games.

the old NES ones?

zelda 1 was the first one i ever played, my cousin had it. then link to the past, which was also my cousins. until i got emulators, i never played any of the gameboy ones. My N64 came with ocarina of time and i bought majora's mask the other day.

those last 2 are the best IMO.
