Eeeek that forza inside shot is horrible, graphically, visibility...

GT5 will definitely be worth the wait.

I've got FM3, but I got the RROD just two days after I got it, so I have no real idea what forza3 is like.. I'm in no rush to fix the rotten thing either - just makes me appreciate Sony hardware more.

Same thing happened to me... lol.

If not FM3 logo on hands I would say it's screenshot from a PS2 game... lol

@ the interview
It's some kind of strange. Kaz says different things, PSM says different things...
Over 1000 cars in PSM and 950 cars from what Kaz said.
I looks that wheather and day/night for all tracks is another unsure thing...

ps. sorry for my bad English ;)

-> Hmm...
Is Porsche involved in this edition?

Sadly no. There were some licensing issues.
^ That could mean a lot; it is not a definite 'NO' answer in my opinion. I've been wondering for the past few day ever since.

- Edition would also mean that there are no Porsche's on the CES '10 demo. :sly:
- Another thing that KY didn't mention was, 'No Porsche's in GT5, end of story'. :)
- Licensing issues may be relating that it isn't March yet.
- And there will be no Porsche announcement until March 2010.

* I think I should bring this on the Porsche Thread too. ;)

How much will users be able to significantly tune their cars? Which type -- stock or tuned -- do you prefer?
They will be able to tune cars. It's another detail I can't disclose. But as for which type of car I prefer, I like both very much. I have both stock and fully modified cars in my garage.

I smell a livery editor in there. Good choice, PD.

I smell it!

I get it from the tuning aspect. I have a feeling the tuning shop will sport both engine tuning and performance with customization.

Well, not that I'm agreeing with what he said...but seeing as a livery edition is customization/modding, you answered your own question.

But the question wasn't about visuals in any way and livery isn't technically tuning.

SrRd, many of us smell Livery editor, but you're just reaching way too deep into things.

It's like Kaz talking about the manufacturer announcements at TAS and everyone automatically saying he's talking about Porsche.

It is. But getting your hopes up isn't good for your health, not when it comes to video games, or women for that matter.

If I had to bet on it being in or not, I'd easily bet for it. Especially after that picture of the conference they had a few years ago (E3 2006?). I doubt they'd scrap it.

Yeah, me too. The new trailer with the FT86 had my hopes up for tuning but then they showed a pic of the actual car and I realized it was TRD car that PD just modeled for the game. It could mean they modded the car after the real life model, but it most likely means it's just a PD car again.

Yes. I just saw that too and gasped. I thought LIVERY EDITOR! Again, there's many secrets left to be unveiled. I'm sure we'll get something!

Yeah, I saw the pic with the outline of features but it did say ONLINE features. But figured it was old and outdated and they decided to scrap some things.
