**CHALLENGE** World Circuit Tour - Nurb in DLC Mazda RX7 TC

Just been trying for an hour to win the Nurburgring race of the world circuit tour in the new RX7 touring car and so far I can't do it....

On racing softs with the stage 3 turbo added the best placing I've got is 2nd behind the Minolta Toyota with a best time of 7:53.8.

I assume the starting lineup stays the same on the seasonal events but if not this is how my race looked.

11th: Corvette C2 Race car
10th: Pagani Zonda Race Car
9th: Chapparal 2J
8th: Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car
7th: Toyota GT-One
6th: BMW LMP V12
5th: Some sort of Pescarolo
4th: Audi R8 Race Car
3rd: Jaguar XJR-9
2nd: Sauber-Mercedes C9
1st: Toyota 88CV (Minolta)


Anyone reckon they can do it?

That is a tough one bro. the minolta is crazy fast. I gonna give it a try later tonight, but i doubt i can do it. Maybe if i got neither the mercedes nor the minolta in my lineup i can get close to 1st. But with them it seems very hard to win this events with a rx7
 
You might be able to do it if you restart til the Toyota 7 is first on the grid...but I don't know for sure. Good Luck!
 
Just won it with a 7'50.313... almost the same line-up - 88CV at the front but the R92CP 2nd.

RX7-TC, R3s and Stage 3 turbo. No SRF, no TC etc... Good fun. :) Not a perfect lap but the AI always seem to wait for you at the apex and cost loads of exit speed. :p

My replay video. Very messy lap really.

WOW close one at the end! :D Specially at the start finish line.
Overall nice driving tho. Think im gonna try out the challenge too.

Little question. Dont you think it would be faster to stay behind the monolta untill midways of the long straight? or do you think it has got too much speed and will pull away no matter the slip stream?
 
i was really lucky when i tryed to do it whit my AUDI R10 RACE CAR '06 the minolta and the sauber mercedes was not vs me and i won it easyly but i was really disappointed the only thing i get was a ASTRA SUPER TOURNING CAR '00 [/B]whit 440BHP and i had thought that it would be something whit the same BHP like the MINOLTA that haves 900BHP :(
