Friends, I did a thing:

Video of said thing:

On hard difficulty using my Rally Cup Build (with default setup BTW), no contact. New challenge?

Before I do the wash-up for the upcoming set of new challenges I confirm that the full stock Yaris on D tires ( 512 PP ) is more than enough to cleanly beat the slowest pack of Gr.B cars ever.

And now ... did I read "Supra" here ?

Which is better? The VGT or the VGTgr1 ?
Am always using gr1
Asked the same question here couple of week of weeks ago.
Base version seems to be faster, lighter, and more fuel efficient. I can confirm the last one.
Been using the gr1 version as well but now have switched to base version ;)

EDIT: Also said to have less tire wear due to lighter weight, but I haven't checked that myself.

I have redone this race with arguably the best EV in the game.

For this race, I ran on Mediums. Lift and coast on laps 7 and 8, then pit on the latter. Recharge until the 1/4 mark on the gauge (or if you have range anxiety, then you can charge it up past that). Pace is similar to that of the base LM55 albeit with slightly worse tire wear.

It makes up for it, however, with range. In the Mazda, it took 7 laps, while this Hyundai EV can run until 8. I have observed similar traits on the 950 pp races.

Hard difficulty.

Interesting week even though I made things difficult for myself. Sunday Cup has a lot of variance in the different grids, one required over 410 PP to win yet another was under 380 PP. Clubman Cup is reasonably easy so there's a good selection of stock road cars to use for this one. One-make I overpowered with a fully tuned A80, my only other cars aren't anything like fast enough for this given the AI is well over 300 km/h on the straights, still had fun given the lovely time of day it was set at. Evo Meeting isn't very interesting, AI is slow as usual on dirt so you can probably just run a stock car and win, I went with something tuned just to try it out which gave me an easy win. WTC 900 I was determined to try to use one of the '08 GT500 cars despite them being far too slow. Tried a few different strategies and ended up winning thanks to some rain on the final lap. On pure pace those cars just aren't fast enough, I was running low 1:48 every lap and not catching enough, would need 1:46 with a pit stop for fuel and tyres. None of us pitted despite the rain coming so I was able to pass the AI when they slowed down on a very wet track, was quite difficult to drive on RM on a soaked track but it worked out thankfully.

Cars for this week:
full

Sorry for the question, where can I find a randomizer to pick the Weekly Challenge cars? I think @Nakano219 had offered such a great tool but I can't seem to find it any more.
I believe this might be it:

find the event, and click "Find Random Car" and then "I'm Feeling Lucky!"

1. Began the week with the Toyota Prius, I tried to find a more generic taxi livery, but found that the NYC taxi design works best. This thing understeers bad.
2. Next, went for the Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition '22. It's a alright car.
3. Another Supra one make. I'm of the opinion that Monza is a meh track, so four laps isn't very interesting
4. Hey, this isn't a toyota! I used the same mitsubishi I used two weeks ago (and two weeks before that) - I've never really been a fan of rallying in this game, so naturally my driving was very sloppy. I just wanted it over with.
5. Finally, I used the Toyota TS050 - Hybrid '16 (I think?) - I did a zero stop for the Nurburgring. Luckily, there was no rain.

On the other hand, I have to manually select all events, while Nakano's had them automatically, plus also special events. Thanks for the heads up though.

Edit: I can't select by event series? Like, if I want to look at all Sunday Cup events there is now ay to filter them only?

Not that I could see.
