Change User Name

Is it possible to change your user name, I've been trying for ages.

You cannot. Jordan had the option. But he is no longer changing user names.

Yes, i think, and i say "i think" you are allowed to change your name once!!! im not entirly sure how to do it though, you may have to PM Jordan and he may have to do it for you, im really not sure though!!!

Thanks it was an old email which was 'Supra' but needed the 229 so I kept the 229 as someone else had it here as well.

It's a long and involved process to change a username, and the way vB is built, involves some risk to the database.

Jordan was being swamped with requests for username changes, and he's decided that in terms of the time taken and the benefit to the community, it's not worth doing.

If you wish a new username, you have to re-register. Which is pretty much what Klos was saying.

Remember that if you wish to re-register, you will have to Log Out first.
