Changing account name?

Do I need to be premium for 180 days or just a member for that time. Could somebody please explain how to change it, if I indeed can.

FYI I've only been premium for less than a day

Welcome, and thanks for supporting the site. Your name can be changed (for the first time) whenever you like. After that, however, you must wait 180 days before it can be changed again.
