So, my GT5 is currently running in German since my PS3 is set to German as well.

Yet, the translation is horrible, I think. Would changing the language cause any problems, like issues with my saved games etc.?

P.S.: Yes, I'm a little girl and afraid of just giving it a try.

I very much doubt it, just back up your data to a USB then give it a go.

I have always wondered why the only language options on my game (other than English) are Turkish and Greek?

Same for me - yet, I've bought my game in France. I guess Turkish and Greek are some sort of "Fallback options" then.

I doubt there would be any negative consequences. If you're nervous and want to play it extra safe, just back up your save to a flash drive. 👍

EDIT: Tree'd. Good call Barra333!

I believe the Turkish and Greek are there specifically because the XMB is not available in those languages. Otherwise GT5 uses whatever language the XMB is set to use.

There should be no consequences for your save from changing it but, as Villain suggests, copy a backup to a flash drive first for your own peace of mind.

Well, seems like it worked - it didn't ask me for the language but even the first screen "blabla access your HDD" was in English. And I had a backup, indeed - I was just curious if it's working with another language, bad memories from when I got a new 360. :)

I've just changed the language on the XMB - but yes, it changed the language of the whole system as well.

No big deal for me, doesn't matter to me. :)
