Anyone tried it in the 24 minutes of Le Mans or Spa yet?

I have. You need to go into the pits every 2 laps because the battery runs out, but I still won by about a minute. The car is excellent in rain, because you don't need to worry about traction when you accelerate.

Yeah, I've tried Spa and Le mans quite a few times since I wrote that. It was a bloodbath; those AI didn't stand a chance against it. At Spa, I always lap the whole field at least twice before I finish.

Can't drift a car that has no physical drivetrain.
I only said nearly just in case someone smart 🤬 posts a video of them somehow successfully drifting it. I was unable to do it obviously

It needs regenerative braking. As @eran0004 said you need to pit every 2 laps, I just finished the lemans race with it, went 2 laps and pitted, tried to go 3 next stint, even holding throttle at like 25% trying to power save, car was still doing over 200mph and increasing. I ran out of power with a 1 minute lead, dropped to 13th before I reached the pits then had to wait there till whatever sorcery replenishes the battery.
Had to scramble to complete the out lap before the final lap notice appeared, cross the line with about 2 seconds to spare with all butt P1 and P2 in the pits, passed those on the long straight.

But as I was saying, needs regenerative braking, with that it might be able to get 3 laps out of it. So much energy is wasted.

I'm assuming regenerative braking is not reliant on the drivetrain but on solely the braking system.

Pleased that PD refined the DS3 controls for the 2X. Finally Golded the seasonal event. :)
