Hey,
Who thinks that there should be more premium, modern, lower priced cars. This would be great as some are nimble and quite quick. This would be a great addition to the game. Who agrees?

Not me. I think one races worth of credits is enough to buy almost any one of the cheap cars in the dealership.

1 seasonal = 200'000 +
Average cheap car in dealership = 100'000 - 200'000

Oh, wait, you actually mean their should be more new cheap premium models? (I just reread what you posted)
In that case, yes. I agree.

Yes, like the Seats and new VWs. :)

I have a account specially for cars under 10.000

I run online, buy one of the cheap cars, oil change and new paint, and keep it.

I agree, except for the "modern". I'm not a huge fan of the latest cars, but I would definitely like to see Premium slower cars from past decades (early 2000s and below).

By the way, I don't think it would cost PD too much time to add slower versions (lower grades, less powerful engines, etc) of the existing premium cars. It would even increase the total Premium car count too. Seeing the amount of padding done with race cars and the fact that PD count as separate cars race modified cars too, I can't understand why they haven't started doing this yet.

Yes! I also agree with SHIRAKAWA Akira, I would like some slower versions of cars. It would be nice to have, say, a 128i coupe. I think that driving a slow car fast takes a different kind of skill than driving a fast car fast. If there were more cheap premium cars, more people would use cheaper cars and we would all become better drivers. Okay, that isn't the best logic ever, but still, give us more premium cars!

we need more production cars for sure. We need new muscle's, new Germans, New Italians.. the list goes on. 2011 Mustang boss 302, the adventador LP700-4, the Koenigsegg agera, The new M5 with the TT-V8, the New Veyron.. all Pivotall Vehicals, and they should all be in the game. I only said the mustang because they have the dusty old 4.6 liter in the game when the new mustang models are all class leaders. the 302 beats an M3 around a track.. and i believe that deserves a spot in GT5.

This thread is about cheap cars, but I have to comment. I REALLY want a proper mustang. About the only thing that makes me proud to be American is our car industry. We build some truly unique cars. They don't conform to German or Japanese standards, they have a different character and are just as fast. Also, while I'm on this subject, I would love to have a CTS-V wagon. Imagine: beating a Ferrari in a Cadillac station wagon. Yeah .

I agree. I spend most of my time cruising with friends online, usually in normal premium cars. Unfortunately, there just aren't very many average premium cars out there. I've tried buying multiple versions of a premium car, and tuning each to a different variation of the model (for the Golf GTI '01, I have the GTI, a base 1.8 Golf, and even a faux Golf TDI), but even then, you start to run out of options after a while. So yes, I would love to have more cheap premium cars on GT5.

Of course, for the same reason stated above.

I'm always cruising online, and it becomes noticable that the game really doesn't have much on offer for those who want to drive in something civil.

My thoughts exactly. It gets annoying seeing everybody else in Corvettes and GT-R's and stuff while you're stuck with cruising in your old Golf because PD forgot about average premium cars. :indiff:

Depends.

If i'm making the choice between

New cheap = 2011 Ford Fiesta, Honda Jazz sorta thing

vs

Ferrari/Lamborghini/Exotic/Muscle type cars.

I'l take the Ferrari's.

I would love a premium Toyota Supra RZ though.

I don't get it. Why? These are mundane, boring cars. Who lusts after a dullsville econobox?

Well, at least think of what you can make them in to. It's why I've gone and fully modded all of the classic VW's.

I think that a good balance of all types of car is best for the series. Not one set of cars being too dominant, but a level number of cars for a rough class.

This is the first time I've looked at Forza and thought, "wow!".
It's never going to be better than GT5 (Of course!) but it has lots of lower end cheap cars. They look fun to drive too. It would greatly improve the driving laws lobbies too as everyone drives around in Ferrari's and such, which isn't realistic. :)

no.

would rather they "premify" cars that are expensive or iconic. there are plenty that deserve it ->
Bugatti Veyron,
R8 LMS,
M3 GTR,
Bentley Speed 8,
Saleen S7,
Ruf CTR2,
DeLorean w/ Flux capacitor ;)
Jaguar e-type,
Ford GT40 '69,
Lancia Stratos,
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Rallye car '85
Ford Escort Rallye car etc...

Same here on the VW. 👍 What is up with all the hate on slow cars anyways? I also agree with the balance thing.(something that seems to be missing.)

Half of those would make online a nightmare if Premium.

Variety. That's what Gran Turismo is all about. If it was just Ferraris and crap, it'd be boring.

Yeah fast good looking cars are a bit boring come to think of it. :dopey:
