I only had 3 replays total of the r33, I tried not to repeat everything....Besides, everybody messes up on drifts and goes into the dirt sometimes...lol....seriously they all cant be that perfect.

I don't want to hear anyone dissing AWD, I learned to drift in my ZZII and it still drifts faster and more spectacular than either my New FD, FC, Varietta, Viper, 34, and 86.

The only cars I like to drift with is my R33 with 824hp, my evo7 514hp, and my nissan350z with 574hp....I know i'm not that good with drifting yet, but half of the people in this forum can't even drift worth shiet, and making fun of my vids..going in the dirt and everything too....."Not everyone is perfect"...I've seen half of the ppls drift vids in this forum, and the only one that impresses me alot is "Drifters-Delight"......I was that good at one time.....not now though...but soon.....until than..don't critize my drifting skills, unless ur drifts are as good as "Drifters-Delight"..

I don't think anyone is really making fun of you, we're just giving you pointers and tips to make your drifting better and more enjoyable

Like those ppl that can't or doesnt know how to drift well, is telling me how to do better, when they dont know how themselves

Why are you getting upset? You asked for opinions and you got them. It's called constructive criticism...learn how to accept it before you ask people for their opinions.

Like I said before, your focus wasn't really on drifting, it was on making a video. You did a hell of a lot better than I could do, since I have no clue how to even use that software. Your video was good, your drifting wasn't concentrated...period.

BTW, how do you know who can drift and who can't?

I sure hope your not talking to me....?....

Also, "Drifters Delight" while a very entertaining vid, does not represent the best skills of all the GTP members..... In fact, the drifts are quite uncontrolled, and sloppy, especially compared to how Catch drifts now.........

;)

I think Catch~my~drift skills are very good because he can pull off alot of good drifts using cars with 800hp and up.....while most other people use like 3-500hp to drift, which is alot easier, and you can controll it easier than a faster car.

hmmm... I can't believe you said that, why would a lower hp car be easier to drift than a higher.... ahem... very high hp car??(800hp!?), there's no such theory anyway, peace :)

Darkazn: I have to agree with Stanley. The higher the HP, the easier it is to oversteer the car. Now if you can drive an 150HP car really well. Then I'd be very impressed.

I'm trying to tell u that its easier to control a drift if its lesser hp from 3-500hp........if u think about it, the higher the hp, u wouldnt be able to hang the turn without sliding out or hitting a wall....

i think ur interchanging hp and speed... i'm gonna have to agree with the other fellas drifting with higher hp cars make it easier to break traction and go sideways... but heck what do i know... i only like to drift with lower hp cars, so i'm prolly biased

Darkzan: Your missing the point bud. What were saying is that starting and maintain a drifit with a Higher HP car is easier to do. It take smore skill to drift a lower HP car because it simply won't spin the tires so easily.

I'd love to see a video of someone drifting the escudo. that thing spins all ofr tires in 4th gear!

So everyone in here is trying to say that they can drift with the pikes peak in every level.......

i dunno how to drift awds... i heard it was easier than rwd... personally i think its harder... i'm always amazed to see awds drift cuz i can't do it haha... but i think the escudo is different because all i do with that car is hit the gas... and let it run its course...

I think I know what DarkAzn means when he talks about skill when drifting an AWD.. the skill, however, is different from FR on sims (low hp).. and this is as clear as day... it's also a known fact that FR cars (sims or not) requires more control (meaning its more unstable) than AWD... hence, requires more skill...

But also, imagine this, driving a 1000 + HP AWD and approaching a corner at about 300km/h and executing a decent drift, requires skill... and personally, I think the skill here is mostly reflex because of the high speed (thats obvious :))..

So, I think that DarkAZn is comparing the drift speed (and the control response) between FR and AWD.. this is what I think...

So, to make a "fair" comparison... this is what you can do DArkAzn... take a FR car with sims... give it the same HP as your AWD... and try drifting with both... and we all know what the outcome will be right?

Lets give a big round of applause to Catch, for his tactful, and intelligent response......

;)

Catch-My-Drift? is the only one that knows what im talking about.........also in real life u dont see that much ppl with 600hp and up drifting....while u see other cars like the integra type R with only 198 drifting around curves........what makes more since in real life, a car drifting at a lower hp like 200-500 or 600-1000hp..

divine_sensei
type R... fwd... drifting... here we go again whee!!!

AWD: drifting
MR: drifting
FR: drifting
RR: drifting
FF: sliding

I slide FF's all the time, but I also don't harbor under the delusion that it is, in any way, drifting......
