How much do you want to bet that it's still running on stock brakes.

Yep, I feel sorry for those tiny brake rotors having to stop that abomination. Also it would be doubly hillarious if the rears were drums, which they might be.

How the heck are those brakes going to ever cool down, anyhow?

eBay item
The motor has a small leak but can be fixed with a new oil pan gasket.
So this guy couldn't be bothered to fix a $200 item? More likely, it's more than an oil pan gasket problem.

Yes that car is easily one of the most dangerous cars I have seen in a long time. That suspension and brake set up would be devostating. Yes the rear has drums. That is easily the worst home made suspension lift I have ever seen. Just look at the terrible 2x2 square tubing thats cobbled together. Even the tie rod ends have been cut in half and re-welded. There is now way that car could safely be driven over 10 mph. No way!

Now that Camaroboy points it out... it is crappy work too. You can just see all the cheap metal welded in there.

And I like how he has this big fancy tranny... but no engine work.

People like this guy should not be allowed to have cars or money... for this very reason.

EDIT: Check out the awesome spring setup in the back...

They are just sitting on smaller mounting points... I wonder if they fall off if you succeed in getting a wheel off the ground...

those brakes brakes are completely stock as ive spent plenty of time under my cousins 84' regal. that car was a dog going and stopping... i shudder to imagine what would happen with heavier and much much larger wheels, more weight from the conversion, and those stock brakes... this person focused on every single wrong area of the car he could possibly mess up. beyond words 👎 👎 👎 👎 :ouch:
EDIT: those springs look like they are ready to de- perch at the drop of a hat. probably the only advantage of that car is that you wouldnt need a lift to fix the pan gasket. id almost buy it just to drive it off a cliff

I was in south carolina, and they have millions of these riding around. Towards the end of the day, I would point and laugh at them, but only if we were leaving somewhere or something, so I wouldn't get run over or beat up.

Ya know what the best part is?

someone's willing to pay $15,000 for a car not even worth half that. Well, maybe if it were parted out...

There's an idea...buy pieces of junk like this, remove all the stereo equipment and the wheels, and sell them to the next dummy in line, then junk the rest! Brilliant!

I'd love to be a billionaire. I'd buy every single one of these abominations EVER built, and upon each purchase, I'd have a friend put a parking bumpstop in the road, rev' the piss out of the cars and hit the bump mid-braking, just to see the look on the owner's face when his "work of art" gets absolutely destroyed in front of their faces.

^^👍 ^^ anything that involves destruction of theses horrific creations:👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Well if every GTP member donates about 20cents then we can buy it and have a ceremonial burning. This would prevent the abomination from scarring people for life.

What a shame, the Regal (especially the GNX) is a real cool car. And they not only ruined it but raped it as well. I'd donate a dollar if everyone else did to destroy this POS and give it a proper funeral. What a complete utter POS. I saw something similar to this on a Pimp My Ride episode...I'd rather drive the car BEFORE the pimping.

Oh and it is a regular V6...they didn't even have the 305ci V8 in it. That thing must be SO SLOW and impossible to stop. Not to mention don't even think about turning the steering wheel...

Hell, I'd donate a whole dollar if it would help remove these things from the roads!

I'd throw in $50 if I could personally exorcise that POS. Maybe drive it off a freeway overpass in front of some semis?

Oh my lord! When will the pimping fad end!

Why couldn't he have made a GN or GNX copy instead? Why did they have to castrate it?!

One day, people will realize what they have done, and they will get their dues.

Like when a car pulls out in front of the Regal's new owner while he's going at a top speed of 86mph? Bad time to learn that the car has stock brakes.

Actually I think keeping the brakes stock was a good move, if you put anything too powerful on the front you'd probably end up pulling a stoppie.

today as i was walking through the local barnes and noble i noticed a magazine....:nervous: this magazine is all about cars like this ::shudders:: it is called donk magazine, i almost bought one so i could rip ot up
