What the hell is a bonnet? I guess you mean hood or hatch, and neither of them are broken.

Why because the builder did something different? Once again I hate how people think anything other then a car with a ton of horsepower and subtle exterior mods is crap. I don't ever want a fast car since I will get so many tickets. I rather just look good while driving and have people stare at my car. Getting noticed, crusing the strip...is far better then racing any day for me.

Yep, I'm just another person who thinks all that stuff is completely pointless, but hey, if it's something you like, there's nothing wrong with that. Getting noticed, as you say, is exactly what that car's doing.

Though I also think that doing performance modification on your car and then doing nothing productive with them (ie. highway racing) is also stupid. The really serious people will take their modified cars to the track and race them properly.

I'm trying to be honest here. Can someone explain to me the difference between "rice" and this (other than the obvious nationality differences). Seeing a Honda Integra with NSX taillights, BMW front grille and RSX headlisght is considered "rice". so why can't this? I'm not trying to bash it or anything, just I need some explaining on what makes this different than any of those other strange import swaps.

Has anyone seen the Alpine show cars (Civic Si-R and RSX)? Those are very good examples of seemless body jobs. And killer paint.

Rice is something that thinks its fast apposed to something not fast. There is no way this Blazer is fast, in fact I can think of 3 Blazers I've ever come across that have been fast and they all had V8's in them. There is no way that front end swaps and what not are rice. If the work is quality on it, it's all good.

Like I said, power in a car isn't my first objective. I would rather roll around in a car with a stock engine and a ton of look good parts. Sure many people would think I'm a ricer for that but whatever. There is no point to have a car that will do over 80 in the US since 75 is the highest speed limit I've seen. Most people do 5 over any ways.

But I would never claim my car to be fast. Hell my truck is slow, it will go up to the high 90's but thats it. I don't need to go any faster then that since I wouldn't ever take it to the track.

The swap part does look pretty good. It's a better looking front end than the original Blazer IMO. Also just my opinion, but the truck is hideous. When I saw the pic of the interior, I thought I was going to throw up. :yuck:

It's not rice because it's not an import but it would be the white guy's version of rice, I suppose white trash? :dopey:
I think we need a new name..... bread? cereal? how about Big Mac!? :p

BlazinXtreme
Well it used to be a four door Blazer but now it a combination of a Blazer and a CTS. This is the second one to my knowlegde to be done, just this one ended up coming out right.

I was just watching Street Fury on G4 and that car came up.

Ya it's starting to get around, I see it popping up more and more since its really different.

I'll give them credit.
Its clean and really well done.

I wonder what it'd be like if the conversion was the only thing done. Maybe it'd look like some wierd Escalade?

Hiya! :D :O  Meow! (='.'=)

I think it is gorgeous for a show car, but not my style. :guilty: The area of customization sometimes interest me because you can always do something to your car to make it look more modern. Example would be the deck of a car because I think that the cars made in early 90s look too plastic like now compared to the new cars that made it around this year.

By the way, how much did this person put on this car? :odd: :O

I'd say well over a 100k, the paint job alone must have been close to 15 grand, rims 3 grand, the bags about 2 grand, The fiberglass work and morphing I wouldn't have any idea on.

How about plain old ugly?

I've seen my share of minitrucks... some are nice looking, and some, like this one, are garbage.

It's not really a mini truck, its a small SUV at leasts thats what they put my truck in at shows. Not relavent be meh :D. But this is not that bad, I understand that its not people's style, but by no means is it garbage.

I'm sorry, but two tones marble paint and pinstriping equals cheesy... or, in other words, garbage. Maybe garbage is a bit too strong, perhaps something along the lines of vulgarly hideous would be better.

I wouldn't call a paint job that expensive cheesy. I agree it might be overdone with the paint, but its by now way cheesy. Marble vinyl would be cheesy.

50% = "Hey, its diffferent"
25% = "Omg, what a dumbass, I would have bought a house or something"
20% = "OMG RICER"
5% = "Yo dawg thats a pimp ride"

I thought I would throw up some more body swaps.

First gen Blazer with some kind of old hot rod front end.
