Ok guys. For the past few years for christmas i would give my parents ideas of what to get me for christmass with like one big item. This year there isnt anything big that i want, GT4..... Anyone i was wondering what some of you might want or need to give me some ideas.

Yeah I would recommed an mp3 player, maybe a digital camer. Price range is really the biggest factor. One cool thing I've been wanting to get is one of the little 128mb keychain things.

I would recommend that if you don't have a real need or desire for something, you shouldn't make something up to ask for. Just say "Mom & dad, I don't really need anything big right now - so just save it for another time please."

Seeing how others are suggesting MP3 players, I'd have to suggest a good set of headphones to enhance the listening experience. But be warned, lots of people won't listen to their MP3s after hearing how bad they actually sound through good headphones (which is one reason why I still buy CDs).

Listen to the duke. Your parents will be stunned by your maturity, and their appreciation will pay you back tenfold.

But I know you aren't going to do that, so ask for a nice set of computer speakers. ;)

I actually told them that already. But just in case anything popped into my mind. And my birthday is actually monday. So i dont know what i want for my birthday either. And i dont have a job so i asked them for money so i could by my family of 5 presents. But im working with my dad next week so thats covered. I thought maybe a stereo for my room. Becuase my computer is in the living room so it would be useless for a nice pair of speakers here, goods idea though.

You could always ask for gift vouchers. It's a way of doing what Duke says, but still allowing an exchange of presents to take place.

Always 2 steps ahead, aren't ya?

I asked for a camcorder and an Xmod. Toys are still cool- just remember that.

I bought 2 Xmods with lots of mods, they now just collect dust.
