The only Santa-fied smiley I see is the :yuck: one?

The animated ones would kick ass too! bUt even this is excellent!

Odd. I see the Christmas hats on the smilies in IE but not in FF. Anyone else see the same thing?

I indeed have the same thing. I tried IE and everything has hats on, but not in FF. I think we need to delete the FireFox cookie.

I deleted my GTPlanet cookie as well (all cookies btw), but I still have like 5 christmas smilies. It's a problem on my side, since you do have the christmas smilies now.

Edit: Tried more thing, it still doesn't work. Let's see what rebooting the computer does.

Could it be the old temp' internet files are being loaded?
[EDIT] Deleting cookies has worked 👍
Yes, did that and the ones I see on IE are now on FF. Thanks. 👍

I rebooted and I still don't have them (apart from the 6 I already had). Well, I have to be patient then ;)

Edit: More weird things: When I'm logged out/in on http://www.gtplanet.net I have the normal smilies, but when I'm logged out on http://gtplanet.net the christmas smilies do show up? :/ Cookies were all deleted, same with history, so I don't really get it. Is tehre a hidden cookie somewhere?

Your cookies don't have anything to do with it, the smilies are stored in your cache, or temporary internet files. Delete those, and then see them.

That's just because your browser thinks they are new files coming from a different location, so it downloads the latest versions instead of pulling them from your cache.

Hmm, yeah, deleted cache this time (in FireFox, for some odd reason I can't see them in Firefox Temporary Internet Files (C:\Documents and Settings\****\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files) (I'm sure I could see them a while ago (I remember being careful with deleting items (2-3 months ago) because I did not want to erase the cookies that time). I can see though in properties that the folder has 892 files, but I can't see those files. Doesn't have anything to do with this I suppose.

Anyway, I have all smilies now, next time I'll delete cache in the browser ;) (although it's still weird in my point of view that this problem occurs now and never did before. I now have the unpleasant feeling that I'm a noob :p).

And yeah, when I turned my pc off I thought about the fact that it would create a whole new 'list' :)

The christmas smileys add a nice feel to the site this time of the year.

The thumbs up 👍 with a hat on it is funny!
I agree. That one reminds me of the condom joke that was posted on this site a while back. If you know what I am talking about you are smiling or laughing right now.
