Atleast the paint isn't as bad as the overused cameleon type of paint.

That paintjob would be okay... on a racecar? I think that's the place I'd find it most annoying, strangely.

I don't mind the whole "chrome car" thing if it's done for artistically (Mercedes' calendar, for example). As a daily-driver, that's a nightmare. Plus... no need for 4x4 stance, lower the damn thing.

That thing must be awfully dangerous on sunny days...

They say that the suspension height was raised to avoid damage during freight when they took the pictures, so that probably doesn't help for how the wheel arches look. I've heard that chrome wheels are a PITA to keep clean, I wonder what's it's like for the whole car

I think it doesn't look that bad, but I would never spend so much money on a paint job.

thumbs up for spotting the f40 btw! now there's a car with true style. it's been on my wall since 1987 and i never get tired of looking at it. i think staring at a spoon is probably more exciting than looking at an e46 in chrome paint
