oh....! my bad not really big on the whole paint chip thing, just wondering why i never come across any! becasue normally i just keep getting a useless horn each time i get another ten cars!
im on 210/220 or somewhere inbetween, and i think the last paint chip that i got was a matte sliver or gray either one of those...!
it does make you wonder sometimes what they where thinking when they made some of the descisions in this game! the horns, 1mill trading cap, no fast forward/rewind in the replay i could go on for ages! still a cracking game though but you cant help to image how much better it COULD be!!!

What I would like to know is how you know what your random paint chip color is before you hit OK, as it seems my system just tells me that I received a paint chip, period; doesn't tell me what color that I can recall.

The system tells you the number of your new horn and the name of the color you will get. If the color is fine for you, push OK, if not RESTART. You have to force your luck a little bit to get chrome, it may take 2 - 20 attempts
for me, it seems a bit too effort to put to get just either a gold/silver chrome paint chip.
