Chrome paints?

Just wondering how so many people have chrome paints?
Do you earn them the same way as standard paints? Ive had the game since launch and haven't got any,plently of matte and pearl colors tho.

Cliching or whatever u want to call it. Im to lazy to do it myself,so i just trade for them ha

You get a matte, pearl or chrome paint for every thirty cars you collect I think.

You can dupe them (search for info if you're not sure how), or be awarded one for every 30 cars you add to your garage (just matte or chrome).

If you don't like the colour you've been awarded, simply DO NOT press ok to accept it, quit GT5, restart GT5 and you'll be awarded again. Repeat until something you like pops up

I've traded for a few of them, sent them to a second account, and kept duping. I do this every few days with the chromes and my mattes, and I have 25 of each chrome right now.

never had luck with the paints, but this week doing seasonals, buying the left 200 cars in the UCD...

well bought 40 cars and get 2 silver chromes^^ but got enough of paints..

was a funny moment because never had luck before

I play since january, level 38, 890 cars, only 2 chromes and 1 golden chrome... alll of them using the issue "wait - see - quit game - load game - see" method.
Only has do it three times because I'm lazy.

Just trade for them if you really want them, they're not hard to come across in the marketplace section of the forum as long as you have a little something in return.

As someone mentioned above, trade for them to get them and then dupe them from a second account. I have multiples of all the mattes, colour shift and chrome paints after a couple of months of duping and painting cars.

Without trading I have earned 2 gold and one silver just by playing the game. I have bought 950+ cars. You earn a shot at them every 10 new cars or so.

Thanks everyone thats cleared things up a bit, at least im not the only thats keeps getin brown matte every 30 cars lol
Will have to start using the trade forum from now on.

I got a gold chrome for somethign at some point and used it on my Zonda R. It looks pretty cool but sometimes I wish I would have saved it to use on soemthing else like a Miura.
