Very nice car. Loving the sweat-pants and sandshoes thing too!

On-topic: I think fiddy's range of wheels will be stupid. All chrome, and I wouldn't be surprised if he tries and sets a world-first with a set of 28" or 30" or something. :rolleyes:

Ughh poor car, although It'd be cool to see it going over 200mph in a sunny desert from a good distance, it'd look like a bullet.

I thought people bought cars like that to be seen in a flash car - if you have a chromed car then all its going to do is reflect the Hyundai that you've pulled up next too - all of a sudden that $200k Lambo, with $50k's worth of custom 'paint' is making you look like a Hyundai driver! - that's really gangsta!

All the flash isnt gangsta, people miss use the word "Gangsta" if your calling the black rappers on TV gangstas, your stupid. They have body guards, and they act like gangstas. I highlly doubt that they have even picked a REAL gun up, yet alone shot or killed someone. and the car its self isn't gangsta, or ghetto, or however you call it. The word "Ghetto" is also miss used alot, they call Escalades, with 24" rims gheeto, but "Ghetto" is meaning poor, or very little. Meaning people with torn up houses. Ghetto and gangsta's don't really mix if you think about it. That car just shows that someone has WAY to much money, and making perfectly good cars, into peices of ****. That car won't see 5 mins of the road before some dirt scratches it up. Crome is really pointless to have as a primary body paint, and it will scratch really easlly. He just wasted alot of money, they could have gone to a better use.
 
Is everyone picking on that Murcielago because its gonna be 50 Cent's new ride soon? How about it was going to become Bill Gate's new ride? I don't think many people will write posts criticizing it eh?

Anyways, who cares if he paints it in chrome, its our own taste and freedom right? If you say chrome is so bad why is it used for car bumpers? Covering the whole car with chrome is just like a extension of the bumper I think, and its also pointless to say that this car is begging to be pushed to the limit and 50 just wasted a new Murcielago by storing it in his garage 95% of the time - how many % of buyers of Murcielago, Bugatti Veyron, F40 and F50 do you think actually go to track every weekend and do 200+ mph and push the car to the limit? Supercars are just bragging items, they rarely get pushed to the limit - its just like a show car, its given best care the owner can give. I think a better discussion would be that how supercars eats up gas and return so little to the world in terms of financial contribution (freights contribute - they ship goods. Commuters contribute - they help build economy. Supercars don't contribute - they eat up excessive amount of gas.)

Chrome isn't all that bad, alright. If you can buy a car with chrome bumper, why can't you tolerate chrome paint? How about pearlescent paint? How about neons and those ultra-bright HID lights? They hurt your eyes more than a chrome lambo -.-

Because this thread was started to show fiddys new chromed ride. We already did the purple Diablo, we'll do the Lime one in another thread..

And if we think that it's fun to talk trash about this car because: A: We think Fiddy is a clown, B: We don't like Chrome, C: We envy Fiddys money and HAS to talk trash about him, D: We think Chrome on a Murc is indeed stupid, it's our God given right to do so... And hence we shall carry on doing so...

And there's a world of difference between a chrome bumper on a car and a car covered in it... - Especially since the amount of chrome on this car from the factory boils down to, what, the badge ?...

You get over it...

Theres chromed M cars. Theres a ton of chromed Audi's and a ton of chromed mercedes.

I dont see the problem. I dont think it looks bad at all.

Does a paint have to be "factory finishes??" If you say so, why do people envy the pearlescent paint then? Aren't most of them "aftermarket finishes?"

If you hate chrome that much, fine with me. It just that if you think about it, chrome and mettalic paint is the same thing, just that chrome is grey colored and is uniform over the surface. Metallic paint has metal chips in there; why don't you think about that for a second?

Sometimes its better to think twice before you post...
 
it's 50-Cent's Car, if he wants to uglify it by chroming it, he's welcome to it.

I don't give a hoot.

I'd put on a huge rear wing and front splitters, gut the thing's interior, add a rollcage and Lambo sponsor decals, and go racing. but that's me. And if people don't like the fact that it's no longer street legal, fine by me. I'm sure Mr. Cent feels the same way about his car.

As I've said earlier, it matters quite a lot.. Chrome is nothing but bling whereas Audis polished aluminium has more heritage than you can shake a stick at.. But I've already said this, so obviously you didn't bother to read the thread..

And what's the idea of comparing Metallic paint with chrome flakes in it with all out chrome ?....

why not say something about that, those Mercedes in chrome look uglier than the Murcielago.

and no, we're not talking heritage or some stuff here, we're debating whether if a chromed Murcielago is suitable for a super-celebrity like 50 and it doesn't matter if there's heritage to Audi's polished aluminum. That's the last thing I care right now.

by the way....what would you do if you're like 50? Of course you would want to show off your wealth, thats human nature. Its his money, its his car, its his paint.
 
I actually think it looks pretty cool, HOWEVER, it must have some good looking wheels, no BLING-BLAW twanty-fo's. I too wish to see it at 180mp/h on a super sunny day from afar. 👍
 
Yeah, choice of wheels should be interesting. I'm not a fan of "fiddycent" at all, but I think that picture looks pretty neat. If I owned a Murcielago, I wouldn't chrome it, but it is very unique, I must say.

P.S. That Miura is BEAUTIFUL! :drool:

The Audi isn't chromed - Nothing but polished aluminium - It's an Audi trademark from back when it was called Autounion.. (Good story though - something to do with losing weight by scraping off the paint down to the bare aluminium)

Yeah, just as Mercedes Auto Union didnt even paint the cars in the first place because of the weightgain it would come with back then.
