To update THIS topic, let's revisit some of the track ideas that are either confirmed or rumored.
Among others include:
Hong Kong
Amalfi (formerly conceived as "Capri")
New York (confirmed!)
Citta di' Aria (confirmed!)
Paris (rumored)
Venice (rumored, based on EGM a few months ago)
There are probably others, but so far, Hong Kong and New York are looking pretty promising in terms of new tracks.
By the way, in regards to the last thread before this update, HondaKid, it looks like Metro is trying to lessen the number of Lightrail crashes. So good for Lightrail passengers and regular drivers alike.
