Citroën GT Race Car glitch

Errm, I'm pretty sure something is missing here:

I don't have the road version or the prototype and won't be buying them. Can someone please check and if they too have invisible gear sticks!

And another problem, driver's head goes through the bucket seat on sharp turns. Again, I'm not sure if this is limited to GT Race Car or all other cars with bucket seats.

It doesn't have a gear stick because it's supposed to be an electric car with a motor with only one gear instead of an engine IIRC.

That's true for the original prototype, but is it true for the race car (seriously, I legitimately don't know)?
 
Only the prototype is electric. Road car and race car aren't.

It's either an animation bug with the driver or a missing gear stick.

Have you looked at transmission in settings/tuning ? What does it show in there?

Customisable gearbox. The engine sound should be obvious, really.

Sometimes when I pit my FGT the gas can is invisible. I found it annoying at first but then thought, meh.
 
same thing happens to 458... my driver ignores the paddles and shifts with the imaginary gear stick
 
Taking sharp corners at the Indy oval in the Minolta will cause The Stig's Communist cousin's head to go THROUGH the car.

Same here. At first, I was wondering what the guy was doing, standing by the car... At one time, he did have the gas can. Another time, I saw him filling the fuel, while the gas can was still sitting by the pit wall :D lol
 
Right. I can confirm the road version also has an invisible gear stick. Thanks for the 458 heads up, btw.

Though the GT doesn't even have paddles. Just two plus and minus buttons on the wheel which I doubt are relevant. I know they're both concept models and what have you. But it's a bit annoying to see such a bizarre modelling mistake for such a highly publicised car. Aah, WTH. It's still be meanest looking race car in the game.

Spare me the self righteous lecture, please. I paid good money for this game and being a fan since GT1, I did not expect to find such a stupid bug on a car that has been advertised as one if the flagship cars in the game.

It's old? Show me the topic please. I searched before posting this and did not find a single post about it.

I agree with you. If these things weren't posted then they would never get fixed.

I'm surprised that such a major car in the game has a bug like this. I love the game but it isn't as well polished as previous GT's.

All games cost the same and ther are much crappier games then GT5
 
Its a massive game and they had to rush to get it out despite its long development time, there are going to be bugs. You pay good money but its the same money you would pay for another game, 90% of which are far less quality and value than what you get with GT5. It isnt perfect and there are bugs, missing features and a whole load of other things for people to complain about, but at the end of the day its a great game. I know im not gonna lose any sleep at night because the gearstick, which you're not able to see while driving anyway is invisible.
 
I would like to comment and say, while I was racing the 9 hour endurance race via B-spec, When my car and everyone elses would pit, there is no pit crew, or anything, at first I thought my game froze lol
