I have same glitch too.

Anyone else notice there is no pit crew or gas cans, tires etc at Tsukuba Endurance race?

The car is so advance it uses a xbox kinect to track your shifting.

Its Xbox Kinect, I think that would actually be a down grade considering how big of a flop it is.
 
I haven´t seen this in other cars but the GT Citroen. The 458 , in my case, is fine. My driver uses the paddles. Other shifting glitches i´ve found... The hatchback Impreza. Driver moves the stick like if it was sequential, when its obviously an H pattern shifter.
The Samba Bus. Also has a "sequential shifter." The Mustang 07 has no animations at all, wich is fine since its an automatic, but the car´s shift sounds are like a manual. Same with the Challenger SRT8. Shifts like a sequential(wich is correct) but sounds like a manual. Same goes with all the SL Mercs, except for the SL55, and 500. All of these details seem very random, and I just hope they can get fixed in the next GT...

Its a massive game and they had to rush to get it out despite its long development time, there are going to be bugs. You pay good money but its the same money you would pay for another game, 90% of which are far less quality and value than what you get with GT5. It isnt perfect and there are bugs, missing features and a whole load of other things for people to complain about, but at the end of the day its a great game. I know im not gonna lose any sleep at night because the gearstick, which you're not able to see while driving anyway is invisible.

Yes it is! Not everyone is lucky to have THIER PARENTS pay for "miserable $60 dollars," like you´re trying to make it seem. I pay $75 US dollars per regular version games. $150 to $200 for collector editions. I´m happy to pay every HARD WORKED penny for them.

Purchased Arta Garaiya and Cusco Dunlop Subaru last night (in search for a neat looking race cockpit suitable for Nürburgring) and they too have the invisible gear stick. But in photo travel mode, the stick is clearly there (not in Citroen GT though).

I'm beginning to thing this is one of those "sacrificed for frame rate" nonsense and not a glitch after all.

Now, if only I could have the awesome cockpit of Arta Garaiya combined with awesome looks and physics of Citroen GT RC... In fact, I think I'm going to start a petition for this... :crazy:

Spare me the self righteous lecture, please. I paid good money for this game and being a fan since GT1, I did not expect to find such a stupid bug on a car that has been advertised as one if the flagship cars in the game.
