Hey guys I'm new, and I'd like to know if the 1 million credit Citroen (I think its called GT) is worth buying. I dont see many people using it online, so it cant be that good can it?

I do not personally think it is a good car because, it has one gear for drive and looks so ugly :yuck:

I like it, styling is too edgy though. too expensive, and a Mine's GT-R can beat it for less dough.
Well actually, I won that race, but only on my straight forward speed. More of a collectible.

You should buy it just because of the totally different experience it offers from all other cars in Prologue.
It's a concept car with an imaginary powertrain ( not even present in the real one which apparantly has a US V8 ) which takes some getting used to.
It resembles driving an airplane and it has instant torque and no gears as it's an electric car.
I've got 5 of them in my Prologue garage, is it my favourite car? No, not even close but I do own every car in Prologue and some in different colours.
If you're still in doubt, buy every other car available first and when you got a million left go out and try it.:)

^^ This will be one of the few occasions I disagree with analog, but the car doesn't really have instant torque ( or maybe I just can't feel it ;) ), it's lazy to gain revs and the power takes a lot of time to show up, so it's mainly a straight line rocket.

But stylingwise is superb, in cockpit view is just remarkably unique, you should try buying one. I actually own four of them. :D

I am currently using in for Time Trials on Daytona Super Speedway...it is quite a manic drive. It doesn't take that long to earn 1 million credits, so its worth a shot.

I am struggling to get it to hit 220mph+ though, in the replay of the world leader on the Time Trial for Daytona they hit 222/223...does anyone have any tips, I can only seem to get to 218 most of the time and even then I bump into the wall.

Go on the throttle earlier. I know it's easier sad than done. But that's the only way to hit a higher top speed.

Cockpit view is so insane that if I stare at the interior for too long my cars in a wall! F2007 still has best interior though.

You may be right actually, as I haven't driven this car in a while.
As for the few occasions you disagree, that may have to with something *cough* Holland in the finals *cough* else entirely.:sly:

, I really don't care about football anymore. :D [/Shameless Liar Mode]

Correcting myself, this car does have a lot of torque, but the gearing is limited to one loooooong gear, hence the poor acceleration. ;) It's a blast to drive but there isn't any other cars ( Excepting the F1 ) which can match it, so it's just a Citroen badged pricey toy. I love it.

As I mentioned before, I own four of them, none of them is orange, by the way. ;)

It's like WipEout meets Gran Turismo, with other words, totally awesome!
Not really competitive, nor realistic, but definitely unique.

It has over 700 hp, half the downforce of the F2007, looks like it could travel through time, and sounds like a Jet. But it only has 1 gear, is 4WD, no real good sound, and lift off UNDERSTEERS. Oh, and it can't be used online for any events.

People don't use it online because there are no events that it fits into.

Oh, and it can't be used online for any events.

A few months back when there was a 750 or 800 (forgot exact PP,sorry) Daytona SS event, they were out there running. They got smoked by the GTLM's and Tuned Vette's,but they were out there.

If you use N3's on this, and adjust the downforce by a few points you can use it in 800pp events. You have to brake really early though, but still competitive to gt lm's if you can drive it
