im sorry but im new here....i have searched but did not come up with what im looking for...can someone give me very good recommended settings for the Civic SIR? Thanks in advance!

Hey, welcome to GTPlanet, sw20. Thanks for looking before you asked.

I don't have any settings for the Si-R, but try searching for settings for the Integra Type R (ITR) or the Spoon Civic. These should yield a good starting point for a moderate power FWD car.

sw20, Welcome to GTP.

If you give me a couple minutes. I'll give you some Suspension settings from my SI-R civic. :)

thank you for the feedback...i searched again and used some settings for the Spoon CTR...i should prob. set the auto settings a little higher since my little SIR doesnt rev to 18 grand hahaha....but the settings have deffinetely cleared up my extreme understeer problems...again thanks and more information would be greatly appreciated!!!

I swear I have this curse tuning front-wheel drive honda's.
I had no luck. So, i'm linking you.

I was often considering learning how to drive and tune the EG6 and/or the EK, but I soon realized that (in comparison to any FR sports car,) the Civics are only good for two things; saving gas and protecting people from female drivers.

I mean, I'm sure they're fully capable of getting good lap times if tuned right, but they just can't compare to other drivetrains in terms of threshold in a battle. Like you have to be so careful with how you control the car or else you will end up understeering.

Pretty much the second you accelerate, you lose your slip angle and start plowing.

That's not cool..

Oh, and another thing; if you start pushing like 200-250ps, you'll run into a problem where the steering pulls to one side under hard acceleration.

Also not cool..
