Clio Cheaters + Rammers

How do I prevent myself from racing with hackers and cheaters like Karoka7 (PT) there has to be a way to report griefers who ONLY RACE TO CRASH OTHER PEOPLE.

There is a GTPlanet Race Events Section.

There is no way of not running with them but you can limit the chances of racing with the punters if you stick to GTP times.

If you sign up to get a GTP tag there is an ever growing list of bad drivers to watch out for.

Reminds me of whenever i play GRID online. The last place drivers stop on the straight and try to total the other cars so they can win. For help with the punters, try going at the most random times you can and you just might not get in races with them.

That doesnt make sense!? If he goes at random times hes most likely not to get match with GTP members (clean racers). If he matches at set times when GTP racers and other forum racers match, hes more likely to get a clean race 👍

That's true, but there are far fewer NTSC racers running at the scheduled intervals.

I certainly try to launch my races at specified times though. Messaging racers you deem to be clean can also work too, as they're often looking for some clean competition. 👍

Ok well maybe i didn't make sense about it lol. Just keep your eyes out for the asses. And if you do get involved, don't throw your ps3 out the window, its just the world of GT online. Do all of what jack said and you wont have as much problems.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I've been trying to hone my skills enough to compete with the GTP crowd (im using a dualshock 3), I've read the rules and guidelines and I'd love to participate in some Intermediate races. I'll try to get signed up today

beginner and intermediate events bring all the bad ones out from underneath their rocks to prey on the lesser skilled and the noobies.You usually don't find too much problems in the pro ranks,give it a whirl,never know until you try.

I agree. I haven't raced too much recently with other GTP racers, but I can say for sure that the GTP tag does invite aggression. I have raced with and without the GTP tag, and I find it much more pleasurable to race without it.

BTW, anyone noticed GTP_bollocks? I've seen him in a few races, so obviously he is someone that hates us GTPers!

I can say that i used to drive the Ferrari California on Fuji and Suzuka and would always find myself in second place becuase the was never agile enough to make a pass stick or stay in front of the Clio. But since Switching to the Clio i have had more fun and won quite a few races. The only down side is having everyone punt you off the track. I can understand that when youre really close to the car car in front you may not see the turn coming up and brake too late thus sending the car in front off the track which leads them to believe that you have dont this on purpose.......I have done the same thing by mistake. But what really gets me upset is when someone is up alongside and they have plenty room to go through the corner without hitting you they then decide to push you off the track. This makes me very angry.

So what i have started to do and i am sorry if no one like's this but, i have started to keep those drivers behind me when they are trying to get by. If you want to push me off the track on purpose i will come back for you. Now i will never initiate punting only if it is done to me, but the difference is that i will not be as aggressive to put you out of the race. There are too many people who dont race to make a real compettion out of it so i cant be bothered to remember their names to put them here in this blog but i will remember you when in the race.

If there any good driver's out there who dont punt for the fun of it and dont cut corner's because they have limited skill, then please come and race in your Clio's but please remember it is a track race not a demolition derby !!

I try to race cleanly, and I've found that punters punt because they are slow. I ususally get by them when they're busy ruining someone else's race.

today, on intermediate Fuji Ferrari I was leading from the start. I saw someone from russia behind me cutting corners. I was driving without cutting. He saw that but on second lap he was still cutting. Finaly he overtook me on the last corner. I had little faster car on the straight, than I wasn't drive direct behind him didn't use his drag but I was closing and than he started to block me. This was sick! Very annoying.

Before I unlokced some of the inter and pro events I did some races at Fuji, and although I came accross lots of noobs and rammers I also had some good races. I often came accross Skylines and NSX's while using the Impreza, so even if I drove perfect, it was hard to stay in front as they would have the Acceleration advantage over me. But I had fun, and enjoy using an inferior car as it makes winning all the more satisfying.

While racing at Eeiger, in an Inter event, I found it pretty hard for people not to crash into others, especially so if there was a full Grid, as that track is simply too small to accomodate a full grid of cars. It was a mad race, with a huge cluser of 10 cars all bashing eachother, I managed to break through and came 2nd to another driver allready managed to clear the chaos.

Don't think there is anyway to avoid punters, or how about the guy who intentionally goes down a lap so he can race with the leaders. I personally like Suzuka Intermediate because there are always plenty of people to race with (8 -12) and if you can make your way to the front without getting booted off the course you can generally find clean drivers. Clean drivers are typically faster than the retards, and will show respect if you can run with them.

I usually get rammed off the road and then end up in 12 at the start of lap 2.

I usually get back up to about 4th trying to avoid punters by taking wide lines. But During the S Bends no clio tuned driven by a punter can keep up with my R8 or Ferrari California.

I hate it when you lead for 2 lapos but then get punted off at the last. It annoys me soo badly.

I think i might have to get a GTP tag account soon.
