Well I bought the Black one and put the highly polished(spelling) wheels on it(looks great Hmm Depends on you likes for a car. I like it and it blew away the competition for pro cilo cup.(I put full upgrades though because i was tired and wanted the serise done) But stock, it would be a good race i believe.

The Clio race car will easily win the Clio series because you race against normal Clio's.

You know ving i do not know if it will result in a close race... I love the clio sport and the race version... great little cars and how ever hatch should be imo... I have yellow and black race versions as well as a silver road car...

I like the black one, I think I won myn from the Super Speedway Enduro. It looks pretty nice, but it looks faster than it is.

Even if you don't put any upgrades on the Clio Race Car, it's really easy to win the Clio Cup.

That is what i was thinking as well (always not to sure what cars you are up against in whose cup races). These are plenty of other places you can use this car for kicks... rally and plenty of professional challenges would be good challenges...

It is balanced - they're all street cars. Use a street car on T3s and it's a good race.

The race car is fun to drive, and probably worth 300 kcr if you have plenty of money.

not as good as the one in GT2 but its not far off. great midrange horsepowered MR car.

I'll vote with Neon_Duke, I won it well over a year ago with really nothing more than a Stage 1 Turbo, T2's and an oil change on the Street car.

The race can be quite competitive, with the only problem being the AI pit on lap 9 far too often.

The Clio Race car is an excellent little car. Very nimble and quick.

I don't think that the race car is worth the $300,000. It'll smoke every other Clio in the series, but they're all street cars. You can win this series for much cheaper. And, the race car won't beat many of the other race cars in the game. But it is fun to drive.

Yes, I did buy it, but I had over $20,000,000. So, price was not an issue.

I won the car (in #22 golden yellow) and finally used it in the Clio Race, beating all the others at Cote by one lap.

Anyone else think it's odd the prize car for the Clio Trophy is something you need for a Beginner series (Beetle Cup), and isn't even the same marque?

Must agree w/Duke & Der Alta. 👍 The Racer is an excellent ride but overkill for this series. Since you're "Buying" anyway, why not buy the Road Version??? It's got more than enough speed/handling for this series & is fun to drive as well. JMO...UB57

And yeah, the Clio Cup ain't as much of a challenge as you would've wanted it to be... an easy win.

They also have the new generation Clio out since GT3...it has more power and looks nicer. But I'll quote Top Gear and say, "It looks faster than it is." That's quite a bad thing...although they are really nice cars.

The Clio race car is worth the money....at least when compared to the Tickford race car and it's 1,500 000 Cr price tag. Out of the many french cars in the game, I'd say this is the best one.
