I only noticed this because you said it:odd:

i just relized the time in my car stays at 4:30. why cant the have it change? GT5 fails in so many ways...

Seriously? GT5 "fails" because the digital clock in your fake car doesn't actually work? Was that really something you looked forward to? I mean, it's April, the game came out in November, and you're just now realizing it, but it's a "fail"? It's obviously not that important of a detail, even to you.

Oh yes because looking at the clock is very important when you are doing hot laps around Suzuka isn't it?

If you're doing hot laps, watching the clock go from 4:30 to 4:31 isn't going to help you at all. You'll know that you lapped the course somewhere between 60 and 119 seconds, not very useful. Alternatively you could used the times the game spits out for you which are exactly right every time.

Omg the clock doesn't change I'm never playing gt5 again it's the worst game ever.

God I have people picking out such stupid things

I'm actually disappointed about this, but it's nothing major. The temp. gauge doesn't work either and I think that would've been pretty cool. I remember Kaz mentioning that weather conditions (wind, temp) and other sort of things like that are taken into account during gameplay, so to not have those simple gauges working on the dashboard kind of ruins the realistic feel of using cockpit view. It doesn't kill it and it isn't a fail; it's upsetting.

I don't understand why people look for the most minute detail to whine about. I mean if things are so jacked up and you can't stand the clock doesn't work in a racing game, then get a degree in computer programming and development, software engineer, graphics design, whatever you need and go get a job with PD and fix it. Complaining about a stupid clock on the dashboard is pointless.

the clock works! if you go to a track that actually the time changes like "Nurburgring Nordschleife\Time Change" so the clock changes! Take a Gtr r33 and see for your self for example! The clock only displays the time on the current track!

The clock works as just said. You have to be in Gt mode then go to practice. You will also notice odometer on certain models will accurately accumulate the mileage as you drive. It may be minor but I find the fact that the fuel guage in dashboards doesn't work annoying when you are doing long races with pit stops and you have the HUD turned off. How are you suppose to know when to stop for fuel?

furl gauges are a let down as well

My Fiat 500 does.

They have to be new to GT5 (not GT5P) AND be premium. For some reason, those are better detail

Speaking of interiors, did ya know the FT-86 displays a map of the track you're driving on?

Must make up for it ;)

Little touches are nice, but it does not make GT5 fail.

GT5 is great, just not up to level many hoped for, hence the disappointment and the inevitable complaint that keep popping up. Working dash clocks wouldn't change this!

hahah All the more reason why it's ridiculous GT5 doesn't have a complete set of fully functioning gauges. Like the FT-86 and the road/track map gadget, some cars are amazingly done and complete. Even though the FT-86 was only a concept.
