BAHAHAHA so now it's established that the even the clock works, is there any other small detail you failtard's want to try and nitpick ?

I've allways wanted to use a gif like this one :)

Worried about the clock but not the fuel gauge. Makes sense.

I hate having to turn the HUD back on to check fuel.

If the time doesn't change then it's not a clock. Therefore everything is peachy. 👍

Look at it as a radio station or something. 43.0FM or 4.30FM... PD's favorite radio station, such is the fact that every car in the game has it set to it. :sly:

Take a 370Z to Toscana course maker at and watch the time change one minute every minute after the set time

Seriously? GT5 "fails" because the digital clock in your fake car doesn't actually work? Was that really something you looked forward to? I mean, it's April, the game came out in November, and you're just now realizing it, but it's a "fail"? It's obviously not that important of a detail, even to you.

If you're doing hot laps, watching the clock go from 4:30 to 4:31 isn't going to help you at all. You'll know that you lapped the course somewhere between 60 and 119 seconds, not very useful. Alternatively you could used the times the game spits out for you which are exactly right every time.

I was just trying to be ironic.

 You took the words out of my head! It's as if the guy bought a real car, and is now taking it back to the dealership to see if his warranty can be honored

it works and I like that fact. And I think in some situations, like while driving online at the ring, it could be usefull, due to the fact that GT does not show a race clock.

It works also in the Maserati GranTurismo S, and it is an analogic clock.

it works your not playing on a track with time progression
the clock in the R33 changes on my toscana track and also the le mans and nordshceilfe
now we got this topic sorted
why cant i turn on my virtual air con on in my car? lol

lol I know what you mean but I was hoping for things like the custom soundtracks, I was hoping you'd be able to skip songs and the driver would skip next song on the head unit. I mean little motions like turning on the wipers/lights. Anything like that. I mean, doesn't the driver hand shift in a Ferarri that doesn't even have a gear knob? They didn't include full steering wheel rotation because the movements of the hands looked weird. Well, then shouldn't a direct, one-motion movement be easy to do? Little Things like that make driving a video game feel more realistic. So what's with the temperature gauge? Shouldn't hotter areas have steaming mirage roads?

Why would I, or any other people who agree with me be yelled at for that? GT strives to be a simulator but it can't fully engage you like you are using a simulator if not everything works. It's not nit-picking, and to me, I find saying that I'm doing that is offensive. I find GT5 to be more enjoyable than most other games I've played and it definitely only gets better with time. Not because of the updates (though they helped), but, because it's like now that I don't have too much else to do, I can use my knowledge of GT5 to fully enjoy it. Almost just like sex because the longer you get to know someone and their inner-workings, it becomes better. It just does. You can't disagree, unless you're to full of testosterone.
