Clearly I didn't think this through before I sent this in.

Okay, you guys may disregard the bright or gloomy bit. As long as the image looks like it's overcast, it's in the 'cloudy' category. I know it's pretty subjective, but you may use your own judgement.

A shot of the sky might help, but it's not required.

Yes, Fishy, images with fog (and rain) can be classified under 'cloudy'. And no, before anyone asks, no night shots are allowed.

If anyone has any other questions throughout the week, please feel free to post them on this thread, and I will get to them as soon as possible. This is my first time judging a competition and I'm really worried that I might disappoint you guys, so I'd like to make this as easy as possible both for myself and for those of you competing.

Although, judging (heh, you like the pun? :p) from the entries already coming in, picking the images for the poll is gonna be very difficult indeed...

So even though my entry has clouds, can be considered as Sunny, right?

It just so happens that these two shots by Mitch and Fishy are two of my all time favorite shots on GTP. I could stare at them all day. I was thinking about entering this comp, but I'd rather vote for them. I'll be getting the quarter out and tossing it. Heads for Mitch, Tails for Fishy. To quote Duncan MacLeod of Highlander - "There can be only one." Let the best immortal picture win!

DarkR and Ferrari_458, both those shots are eligible for the 'sunny' side. Like I said, you are free (well, almost) to produce your own interpretation of either of those themes.

Thanks for the quick confirmation 👍

Sorry, I missed this previously.

majid911, FordMKIVJ5 and GTCHAMPION1, the rules clearly state that the image resolution for the preview cannot exceed 500 pixels in either direction. Please amend your entries or the three of you will definitely be left out of the polls.

Also, at1503, I know which side you've picked for this competition (sunny, right? :dopey:) but for the sake of formality, please do state the side you're on, as written in the rules that f1_stig quoted just above you.
