the viper is the best car thats if its pass near you and then driver accelerate
you feel that your heart is suffering
from the great symphony of horsepower

The awkward moment you put a wheel off the track
You remember you're in a GT-R to control it
But your owns skills betray you...oh Cr#p!
And you lose it...

You stomp on the gas coming out of the corners.
Your heart stops as the Jag accelerates faster than anything you've ever experienced.
The only thing on your mind other than the breath taking speed,
is the beautiful sunset you're riding into.

That special moment when our old hero wants to catch his young rival !

FINAL ENTRY

Every turn and every gear change make your heart stop.
All you can do on the track is to concentrate and to race with time.

"Taming The Corkscrew"
Your Endurance race becomes a real challenge
you taking every corner and you strugle to stay on the track
and then it comes the Corkscrew over and over again
a mind challenging chicane
it likes to play games with you
it wants you to give up and hit the wall
but you fight it over and over again
thats the beauty of driving

Changed! :gtpflag:

Fantastic entries so far! I'm going to be offline most of today, but aim to get your entries in by 20:00 GMT. So about 10 hours from this post; time is no longer standing still! :p

All those hours.

All those hours spent trawling the classifieds to find her.
All those hours polishing and cleaning her.
All those hours thinking about her trapped in the garage in the week.
All those hours scratching your head, thinking how on earth you are going to pay the next insurance bill.
All those hours driving round the block, trying to figure out where and what that funny noise is coming from.
All those hours lying under her in your garage, pulling apart seemingly everything just to replace one lousy bolt.
All those hours keeping an eye on the engine temperature in traffic, begging she would keep going.
All those hours copping flack from friends who don't understand.

All those hours amount to nothing when you and her are pelting through the countryside, down an empty road toward a neverending horizon.

All those hours count for nothing and time stands still.

And suddenly I realised that I was no longer driving the car consciously.
I was driving it by a kind of instinct, only I was in a different dimension.

A moment of excitement and confusion.
It can be seen as chaos or a finely coordinated stunt.
What is going through the drivers' minds? Be it fear and desperation as they both give into the forces pulling their cars in all directions.
Or it could be total concentration trying to control the car perfectly, with total precision.
All this within a blink of an eye.

Nürburgring 24h_1 copy by AdonnysP, on Flickr

It was a Two-Lap arcade-mode race in Professional Mode. In my Matte White NA1 NSX.
Just overtook the Yellow Bird on the outside of Ex-Muhle and heading into Bergwerk.
I clip the front-left tire on the grass and as i try to correct, my rear-left tire also clips the grass and nervously, i tap the brakes.
That sent my car sideways so i quickly downshifted into 2nd and stepped on the gas. All i could see from the cockpit view was the wall lit up by the headlamps, but my instinct told me not to brake.
Time STOPPED as i was maintained a perfect 4-wheel drift throughout Bergwerk at nearly 60mph for a second and a half. I never won that race, couldn't catch the GT-R '07 by 10 seconds. But with damage set to heavy, I'm glad i even finished the race.

I have been sitting since I saw your photo... What car is that??!!?!? I'm normally faultless at recognising them, but have no idea! :nervous:

It looks like the Mazda Miata TC (DLC car).
That is the only premium car I can think of with no roof and a roll cage in the place of where the roof used to be.
