Ahwwgg heeergggg mffggg... The pain! The pain to remove such painstakingly long texts, which though weren't meaningful... But I spent a few minutes typing them...

Fishy, you are talking about "paint" all the time.
Reflexions on the car may occur also on chrome-plated parts and accessoires.
Am I to change my entry then?

No, it's exactly that I'm referring to in my ridiculously unclear post.

JUST DO NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT I POST! ALL ENTRIES WITH REFLECTIONS ON A CAR ARE OK!

Yeah... as long as the paint isn't matte.

Okay, let me put it like this. I am not saying that anyone should change their entry to a non-chrome entry just to up their chances. But I am saying that I think there is more work to it to make a regular paint "reflect" a lot, then with a chrome paint, fluorescent paint, etc just like you said. But that is what 2.0 is about, no? To further meet the theme regulations through editing. I am well aware that are several competitors which aren't editing their images a lot. There are ways to find free software, but the learning process takes a lot of time.

Musical Artist (sorry to anyone I might offend with this) - I do really, really like your entry. I think you should stick with your entry to be honest, it does... hmm... "reach" the imaginary level of "quality" I set up when I sent in this theme. It's not like I'm going to ignore a great entry just because it so obviously takes use of a very reflective paint. Please everyone, as long you yourselves are happy with your entries. Keep them. I'll retract my previous statements about what colours I favor.

In short, I agree with you MA, you are absolutely right. And what you described is how I was planning to judge this.

Oh, and awesome entries everyone. 👍

I love my picture, I want to stick with it, but at the same time I dont like things the easy way, I really like to have a true competition, so do you think I should change my picture and try a different vehicle with a regular paint? Like a Mercedes with Designo White or AMG Lemans Red? what do you think? PS: Even though my Enzo has a chrome gold paint, it was pretty hard to get a decent shot, but like I said, I like to have a challenge, any advise will be apreciated 👍

Can't really compete but I thought the reflection itself was pretty cool.

Well, you started it... with your ridiculously stratospheric entry. We're just trying to keep up.

So let me get this straight... Can I use a photo that has been edited underwater in a free program that I was duped into purchasing anyway that shows reflections in a mirror of chrome bumpers on the hood of a chrome car even though the car is technically a light silver that looks chrome but has been dipped in a magnesium solution in order to give it a fluorescent, really shiny sheen? :p

had a shot in my archive of shots like that, but i found it a bit hollow so i chose to snap another one instead

How u supposed to know if someone is using a chrome or not.... im not, but others may look like they have.

I think we should leave this question for FJ to sort out upon closure of entries:tup:
