Further explanation of the theme, provided by FishyJuice:

It's sequel time, folks! Our man FJ explains:

Ébut I'm doing a call-back to an old theme. I want to revive the "Reflections" theme. A bit to
compare how far the GT5-ographers have evolved since chromatic took home the win.
So yeah, "Reflections II" would be the theme. And the point would be
"try to capture reflections on the car"

Competition News:

andrea's entry has been removed - I thought it looked familiar, and this is why. Sorry, folks.

What's the one that is unavailable? entry 6 O.o

Nice poll too btw 👍

Any feedback?

How could andrea forget?:scared::p

Anyways, nice poll.👍
Even though, mine would've looked kind of different.

But I'm in! YAY :D

Didn't make it this week, but the competition was very tough.

Any feedback from anyone?

I'm guessing it's because I went with a wheel reflection instead of bodywork. Trying something different obviously didn't pay off this week

I think the photo would have a nicer look if the upper part wasn't so bright. It's a bit overexposed, and for some reason it doesn't work for me in this example. Good shot nonetheless!

Yikes, got the axe. But then I really don't blame Fishy at all, the standard of entries this week are off the scale.

I don't even know who to vote right now... :scared:

I'll get to the (stoopid) feedback bits later.
But, just to mention, the last to get cut were RedSuns-Ryuu, Moglet and... as pointed out, BluckBoster. :guilty:

From what I can see, there's hardly any reflections.
Are you 🤬 kidding me? look at this
don't you see how the light reflects on rear/side/front/rims/windows/mirrors...?

I have to say that, compared to something like bmxmitch or ShaolinMasta in the poll, your shot has barely any reflections... :nervous:

:| There's hardly any noticeable reflections are on the window from the light, other than that, there's nothing that pops out, nor does the car reflect the light broadly by the car's lights highlighted. Shooting flat on a car's side hardly ever produces reflections unless it's chrome or a ultra glossy black.

yes if the theme was "a landscape reflection on the car", but it wasn't

The problem isn't that there aren't any reflections on the car, however, compared to some of the other shots, yours seems somewhat bland, and it would seem that the goal with the picture is to reflect as much light as possible, which isn't exactly inspiring. Also, the theme might not be "landscape reflections", but landscape reflections still look better.

Just my two cents...

ehh, who we are to talk about art? who we are to say what reflection is.
let's wait for MusicalArtist and his three cents 👍

thx for feedback guys!
