Well, the poll is closed anyway so there's no risk of poll swaying.

To the rest and as I explained, there was one shot missing, so I've set a poll for the last position. whoever wins that poll will get through next round.

Well, just said what I think could be better about the shot but not so constructive I guess. My constructive advice is: check how much you are manipulating the image with tones, and don't let it take away too much detail. Take the car's backside, you can't see much detail anymore on it, and that's a shame as it is the centerpiece of the picture. The composition is good though.

I think it would/t hurt it at all. My eye is not drawn towards the other cars at all, just the mountain because that's the most contrast-rich area. We should take thesame picture but with back-end detil and see how it looks!

Didn't read too much of the thread to know. I was able to figure a few of the shots out in both polls anyways.

And the one thing i must add to this is that i have seen one of the photo on "xxx guy" flickr account. And it is available to watch for everyone.
Our shots for this kind of competition should be absolutely new and shouldn't be published before competion ends.

The thing with flickr is that it is quite dificult to share the picture without sharing with the public and without having some advanced knoledge about that image host. Its not impossible, but would led into confusion, so I let people made their images public on flickr and I don't expect people to search through users flickr galeries to see who made what picture, but hey, it's possible.

When uploading an image onto flickr you can choose it to be private or public very easily

Yes I know that, thing is, when they send me the link to their shots, I, often, am not allowed to see them, and if I can't see it I can't validate it to the tournament.

Ah right ok, just saying as a flickr user myself I set my shot to private and you got it fine. It just needs linking to the single image (by copying its URL) not the lightbox link. Just a tip for people in the next round to help with this element of the rules

Only the first round is anonymous, typically - since we're all paired off after, it's usually pretty easy to tell whose shot is whose
