being missed out in a poll of some jaggy entries is a very bitter pill to swallow indeed

but anyway, can I please have feedback on my entry, thanks

It is because he used "mode 1" to create that live spectator / photographer point of view.

Mine if I get some feedback as well ??

2000 Nissan R34 JGTC @ Suzuka by RED3MON, on Flickr
1) The front wheel arch needs cleaning up

2) I am not really a fan of that sort of picture tone on a 10-year-old car (this car is the 2003 car from the bonnet dipping below the wheel arch, same year as the Impreza in my entry), perfectly fine if it is another 10 or 20 years earlier.

3) Did you shoot this on mode 1 too?

rain at Toscana? Is that even possible? OR where did you shoot that jus?
I'm really curious about that right now :D

And btw, I like it. The car and surface look great, but maybe it was the background. The white sky and sharp edge from the terrain. I think this distracts a bit in your pic.

It's Toscana from the Rally Special Events.

I love them both! Great pictures guys! :)

Also, I think I know from 4-5 pictures who took them. Easy to spot this week. :)
on jus' shot, I see that the background light seemed to have eaten into the A pillar.

any comments for the GT300 Impreza, Mitch? thanks

 odd to see the 350z and GTR Concept LM, I almost used those at first, then the horrid textures were way too much to fix in paint.net

I know how you feel matt. But the pics in the poll are better, and I don't think they are a lot more jaggy than yours. The composition in yours is good, but the car doesn't look that interesting. A little more action and it would have made it. Also, the front is a little too dark.

EPIC POLL!

Here's my entry:

I really like it Zerox. It has a good realistic look. But it's also a little boring I'm affraid :scared:

It is because he used "mode 1" to create that live spectator / photographer point of view.

I like the car and the shot. It was one of the last to go...

Too dark?

No, it's actually quite good! But picking a poll is also about variation, and there was two better Imprezas that made it. I would say that the sky and horizon in front of the car look a little bad - somehow too sharp. But it is a good entry!

That was mine :

Is it the car choice that made it fail ?

In a way it was. Somehow I think it looks like a shoebox on wheels ;)

Feedback, gentlemen?

The photo is too dark and the buildings take too much of the attention...

Any feedback on mine?

Also a very good photo! But in a way there's not enough of the car visible. You could say exactly the same about the Subaru in the poll but somehow it fits that photo much better imo.

BluckBoster and ShadowPeter - both really great shots - I like them very much. 👍 I'm not the judge so I can't say why they didn't make the poll except that with 10 poll positions it is inevitable that some very good entries will have to be left out - it's a tough job judging.
The only other thing I might say is they could both be a little too centered (there seems to be a general aversion to centered shots) and that could just be the tiny thing that drops them from a poll.

Nice poll, any suggestions?

I really like the action in that picture. And I'm really sorry I asked you to remove the signature when the pic didn't make the poll - but I had not decided yet. Somehow I don't feel that the square format is the better choice for your pic and the car looks a little distorted.

Good poll
any chance of some feedback please

Hehe, I really think the car looks weird. Kinda like it's being beamed up or something ;)

Feedback please

It's a straight forward and nice picture but the composition is a little boring. Either go closer or show more of the surroundings. In this particular photo I don't think the surroundings really 'help' the car if you know what I mean - if you cut away the top or bottom 4th part it would improve the experience. So Nato is right :)

No problem Zambuca, thank for the feedback 👍
