Why? That 908 pic could be from the first lap of a race or the last lap, how are you supposed to know? (Assuming the car in a picture's not damaged like that 908 then, and even then it doesn't make a difference).

Well... We had 55 drivers split in to 5 divisions running Mazdas at Monza, just last night. I think I should be able to find something!

its downshifting into the first corner of leugana sega and if you look its actually starting into the turn

It looks like the degner 2 at Suzuka but I'm not 100% sure.

The cars in the background kinda show that the curve is too tight to be turn 1 (assuming its Suzuka)
 
If that were Degner 2, there wouldn't be pavement in the very foreground. I'd say that's T1 & 2
 
Just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying all the great photos in the competition threads. Thanks for sharing.

with a smashing start and some lucky dodging i sneak up to steal the inside line for second place (the 2J was still ahead) and eventually take home the american championship

Its a great picture, but thats T2 at Laguna Seca :(
 
Technically it is but I'm sure that tiny little curve just after the start/finish line can be discounted for the purposes of this theme!

By the way, the ARTA NSX is entering the first corner of Fuji ... in case obvious first corner isn't obvious enough ...
