Yea, it's called Kart Space Night, but it's an indoor track under artifical lightining, so day or night really don't come in to play.
Anyway, I was snapping shots there last night working on a re-shoot, so this saves me the trouble of having to ask if it's cool to use.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this photo stuff and sub forum, don't really understand it all and don't know half of what the features do on photo mode, but my friends quite like some of my photo's of our races so I thought I'd post some up here.

I read the rules for this and hope I got all the regulations correct.

My photo was taken of a 350Z rs in an online race 530pp road car (sports tyres) at our custom (toscana) track 'Desert Storm'.

There's some great photo's on here and I know that I can't compete with most, but like most races, it's not the winning that counts for me.

Here's the photo anyway, I know it's pretty basic, but I hope some will like it.

Hi, Highlandor! Maybe I'm not the most appropiate to give you the welcome .. but anyways...
It's a nice pic indeed, but if you want to compete there's 2 rules you need to follow:

1. The pic shouldn't exceed the 500px size on either side, and should link to the full-sizer.

2. If you are sure you wan't to compete with it, mark it with "Final Entry" in red (altough apparently you don't have to) :indiff:

Oooops, forgot to write the entry thingy on it...

The only way I know of resizing the image is to do it manually on gimp/photoshop etc etc - I presume there's no way of doing it on GT5 so it has to be done manually??

Or is there some way of resizing on GT5?

Sorry, don't really know much about photo mode, I just point camera, fiddle with focus and brightness a little and click... :dunce:

I just use PHOTOBUCKET (for storage) after a mate told me about it a while ago.. I don't ever take photo's in real life, I just needed a place to store my GT5 pics..

I resized this in GIMP - does that invalidate it as an entry?

No, re-sizing and rotating are the only two things aloud in this comp.

It doesn't invalidate it, it just probably just doesnt help your chances, im not sure now as your entry is actually 500 by 500px but usually its a 500 by 500px preview linked to the fullsize. Try getting a Flickr account, that way you just upload to it then copy some code and it'll provide a preview already linked to the fullsize:)

Mistake in my part owing to confusion / doing this for first time.. 500x500 would've obviously been square,so I just scaled it with the width being 500px, height was alot less...

Sorry for mis-quote... was watching the footy and typing at same time! Probably 'cos my team won, I was in state of shock and weren't concentating!

Sorry thats my bad actually, just realised I'm talking nonsense, it just has to be a max of 500px on any side not 500 on both as i said originally:ouch:
