Cockpit or bumper cam

which do you guys prefer? I feel I get better times with the bumper can because of the increased view. But I have more fun in the cockpit because I feel more immersed. Its a dillema: /

Cockpit view, with bumper view, I don't know where the car is in relation to the road, like the tyres for example.

hood and cockpit view for me, hood cam is the most stable visual of the game there is no tilting at all

I like cockpit but I keep finding myself using bumper/hood without the hood view... Sometimes I switch to cockpit as I feel bad I'm missing it lol... but its harder to see my apexes as the A-pillar on more normal cars is frequently in the way...

I prefer cockpit view for immersion feeling (the view you would have if sitting in the car), but the new `jumpy`view is taking some getting used to-hard to `see` braking points sometimes with the shaking (like your eyeballs are shaking, though I am sure some cars can actually do that to the driver )

Though sometimes I use roof cam (or Roll bar cam) to see ahead better in rain; or for unknown rally stages (still why I have not completed the rally special event)

I like bumper view. Tried cockpit view also but I think that it is only good for Ferrari F1s because you can see the wheels.

It really depends on the car. Some cars feel right, some have too narrow of a view, and some feel too far off to the side, make me feel like I have my head tilted to the side..

They should let you adjust the view angle of the cockpit view by letting you adjust it little by little instead of just 3 options.

For cars i like the cockpit view, but the view is a bit cut off so i get slightly slower times than bumper cam. I only use bumper cam if i need that extra 0.5s or something or if its a standard car.

For F1 cars or any open wheeler i'm slower with bumper cam. I prefer to use cockpit view as its immersive and i know exactly where my tyres are.

I mostly use hood/ roof cam, cause it has a very stable screen appearance. In PC-sims, I only use cockpit view, but in GT5 my eyes hurt after a while because the imaging is very very unsteady. And in a lot of cars you sit too low and can´t see braking point nor the track at all.

And the roof/ hood cam has the advantage to give the best car movement feedback.

I like the hood /roll bar view (where you see the hood, what ever that is called), but it sucks that you loose the rear view mirror with that view.
