WHen iz colin Mcrae Rally 04 coming out. I just played the demo w/ my new wheel, and i'm pretty impressed:D

god... i hope gamespot is wrong like they usually are:rolleyes: jk.. i luv gamespot.. i miss the good old days when they didnt have stuff locked out and whenthey didnt charge... I really want CMR04

Its a lot more fun w/ a wheel, w/ all the drifting throught the corners and such...

I'm going to double check the price and see how cost effective it would be to buy CMR04 from Amazon.co.uk and have it shipped over here. The last I remember, the game only came out to $35 (equivalent to GBP).

It's a custom one of a French pop star named Alizee.

By the way, I double checked Amazon.co.uk. They list CMR04 as 25.99 GBP. Shipping via Airmail to North America is 3.08 GBP, totaling 29.07 GBP. That's $53.31 US dollars with about 1-2 weeks delivery time. They set a release date as 4/02/04.

I have yet to find a release date for the US. Codemaster's site is fairly hard to navigate - I've run into a lot of missing information and broken links.

Hehehe, no problem.

I do have a concern about the PC version - while it looks LOADS better than the X-Box version, I hope I don't play it to death before I can get my hands on the PC version.

I'm sitting here at work, and my new Logitech DFP is sitting right next to me...

and CMR04 is at home on my Shuttle.

I can't wait to try those things out together!

What shuttle you got? I have a SN41G2V2. Mobo went bunk on me after 3 weeks and I'm RMAing it at the moment, but I love the damn thing so much I don't care (well, I would but you know what I mean) about RMAing it.

I have the AN35N ultra. it wuz only 60 Dollars and I've had it for5 months now. i bought it along w/ a Athlon XP 2500 and 512megs of value RAM.... now all i need to do is replace my geforce 2....

I've got the SN41G2 - I've had it for a year or so now. The main catalyst for picking one up was a LAN party that I was going to.

It's great - I've got an XP2400+ in there with a gig of RAM and a Radeon 9700 Pro and it runs all my games at high or the highest settings (except for Far Cry).

The only thing that has given me problems was the Samsung DVD/CD-R combo drive. I don't think that my drive was designed with being in a small form factor case with reduced air circulation.

I've got a straight DVD-ROM in there right now and haven't had any problems for a while now.

keep postin man, we need to see more of that beautiful women.. o.. and on subject... My geforce 2 runs CMR at a decent rate w/ teh graphics turned down a bit

I got tired racing like crazy to unlock all the cars.

So i decided to get codes.

Group B cars are too fast. I can't drive them properly.:(

I just got the game but I need a damn gamepad for it.

Am I the only person that had to go through the instalation process more than 3 times to get the thing installed properly. I always got errors when it came time to switch cds.

I'm using my Logitech GT Force Pro on my PC to play. It works really well. I've got everything cranked up all the way and my computer doesn't even break a sweat.

Looks good and it doesn't need a high end machine - every one's a winner.

I took a run at Colin McRae 05 at E3 and saw someone roll after smacking a medium sized rock while negotiating a turn. Other than that, it didn't seem too much tougher than 04. Now if they just give me more car setting options and more tracks, I'll be very happy with the series.

I mean, they need maybe a Kenya rally and Monte Carlo rally to round out the track selection.

What are your specs? I've got a radeon 8500LE 128mb(It's more or less a radeon 9200), 512 ddr, and Athlonxp 1900+. It chugs like hell - especially right when I need to make a split second decision. The game ALWAY stutters right at the moment I want to countersteer and launches me into a tree :irked:. I'm gonna have to tweak my pc further and drop the settings a bit more than I already have (mid to low settings on almost everything)

jeeze that 'tar is annoying

I like to think that my avatar has the power to hypmotize! :)

Anyway, I've got a Shuttle SN41G2 (NForce2) with an 2400XP+ with a gig of RAM and a Radeon 9700 Pro.

It seems that your computer should run it just fine - maybe there's other stuff running in the back that may be hogging resourses?

That's most likely the case. Even then, this game pushes my now 2 year old system to it's absolute limits

I just came across a serious bug in this game and it's maddening.

I use my Driving Force Pro on my PC for this game (and Race Driver 2) - when it comes time to do the Gearbox Test, it automatically fails EVERY TIME. With the wheel plugged in and selected as my primary controller, the test gives me 0 seconds to pass (normally, it should be about 48 seconds).

So it's either the wheel or the keyboard - and I am unsuccessful at passing it with a keyboard (tried a few times and eventually skipped passed it).

It's a pretty stupid bug. It's not even a big thing really - not game-breaking or anything, just a nuisance. I ended up turning on the Auto-Upgrade cheat just so I don't have to deal with it.

Well, it remids me of Initial D, u can even use the gutters to turn(in Japan stages)

Just letting u guys know. the Colin mcrae rally 2005 demo came out a few days ago. I suggest using gamespot to download it since i am currently downloading at 700kbps. and sometimes it goes up to 3mb on good days. almost as good as Fileplanet plus there's no waiting line for gamespot.

o, and jizzmirk, could u plz change ur avatar back to the gyrating woman? that was the best avatar ever. :D
