Colour obsession - do you have one?

I can't paint my Furai (I did try) but I am not too worried because it is black anyway. Also noticed I could not paint my C1 Corvette which was black. Fortunately the Blue one appeared in the Collector's Dealership for a cheaper price!

I used to go for a lot of Blue cars. Out of the 11 cars I have owned in real life 4 of them were blue. I now seem to have wider tastes on what colour I buy cars though most of the time I try to avoid silver. I did buy the Premium Mercedes SLR McLaren in silver because I prefer the interior colour. I am patiently awaiting the arrival of the correct black for the car with the daily Paint Chips! Hmmm... think I may be a little obsessive over this!

I am pretty sure that when you will paint it in black, the interior color will change to the black interior you would have had if you would have bought the car in black.
When I painted mine in white, it did.

Same thing for my TVR Tuscan. I personally hates the beige interior but likes the car looks with a yellow exterior. So I bought a dark blue one with a black interior and a yellow one. Painted the blue one with the yellow paint chip and the interior color changed to beige.
 
My favorite: Blue tour de France. But other sorts of blue will do to. Have my F40 painted in Blu pozzi.
 
If the car I am buying (for the first time) is available in red I buy it in that colour; so my online opponents may ask is that a Ferrari, or what?, and lose concentration and make a mistake :sly:
 
most of my cars are some sort of red or black..can't go wrong with those :)

i painted my 458 some tanish color and it almost made throw up,changed it back to red ASAP
 
Any bright Lime Green shade. Dodge Sublime is my favorite along with Plum Crazy (purple) and Chevy Hugger Orange.
 
One car I really like is the TVR speed 6 reflex orange. I painted it and then modded it and repainted in reflex orange. Then what I think makes the car look really clean is I painted the wheels to match.

Depends on the car type, The Bob's tuner cars are all bright orange metallic with purple wheels. All of my high-end super cars that are tuned get Black Met with their car color for the wheels. And all race modded cars are Dodge Sublime.
 
like others, i gotta say that a repaint is based on car & mood.
(if i wanna match or coordinate body with rims, i usually go with something lighter.)

my fave colour so far has got to be that reflex spice colour from tvr.
(i repainted one of my amuse s2000's body & rims in that colour, it looks sick!)
 
It depends on the car but it`s either mettallic sivler,mettallic gun metal grey,mettallic blue or mettallic black. I must like mettallic!
 
hmmmmmm.....lets see, my 1988 Camaro IROC-Z is red, my 1970 mach 1 mustang is red, one of my 2 1990 Mazda RX-7 FC's are red, my Nissan GT-R R35 is red, etc etc etc, my favorite baseball team (LA Angels) is red, i wear an angels shirt/jacket or some red shirt almost every day, lol, in all, i think i have 34 cars that are red, lol, (out of 145 cars), most of the cars i buy i buy in some form of red (some cars i earn that i like i paint them red), yeah, sort of obsessed with red (AND NO I AM NOT A BLOOD! lol):grumpy::scared:

I like them mixed up into pink cars?
 
White or black only for me.
I even have deals with friends that they send me all their whites and blacks and I send them all my other colours.I now have hundreds of different versions of white and black,I love it.

It would be great if there were a list of what catr have unique colors. Such as chromes, color shifts, and mattes. I'm looking for yellows. I wish the game had Jeff Gordon's yellow that is used for the actual number 24. My gosh it's bright yellow!
 
Bright Orange! IRL as well...

If its not bright orange, or a shade of orange, then it will be white... matte, regular or pearl. No off whites though!

Oh! And black, or dark gray wheels!
 
White. I'm a sucker for white cars. Might sound boring to some people, but with black accents and features, carbon fibre in some places, it really sets off the contrast of a vehicle. A really nice metallic of pearl white with a touch of flake in it is really something to admire.
 
theres an awesome blue/black off an old 80's skyline thats an amazing colour it also says on the description it was only on that car/model i think its the 2000gt-r the one before the r32........r31 no?
 
I've got a thing for bright yellow, red, or white. Though I've got so many cars in those colors that lately I've been getting other stuff - lots of grays and silvers, even a few black cars.

Matt Black and Isotope Green (The bright yellow/green from Lotus Evora)... Damn SEXY colours! ;)
