Okay, a lot has been made about all of the assists in the game, TCS, ASM, etc. Most agree they are crutch for the more inexperienced drivers. I drive with no aids except ABS1 for the most part. I think most GT veterans prefer this as it gives more feel and control of the car. I find when I try to use aids, it usually results in slower lap times while giving maybe a bit more stability.
Now on to real life. What's everyone's opinion on all of the computer assists being added to cars nowadays? I mean cars that brake for you, keep your car in your lane, parallel park, etc. I believe while it may make the roads a little safer, it's also creating a generation of lazier drivers that will just rely on these aids instead of becoming a better, more aware and competent driver. It's bad enough now with people not paying attention on their cell phones while driving. This just gives more reason to do it because they believe the car will keep them from being involved in an accident. I say use Uber if you can't be bothered to watch the road.
If the future is autonomous cars, driving is going to become bland. Rant Over.
