i take it none of you have read the instruction manual then... it says:
"in b-spec mode your drivers' experience levels gradually increase, allowing them to drive faster and more accurately. by driving on various track, the drivers' overall experience levels are increased further. when experience levels reach a ceiling, try racing on other tracks or in other cars or racing conditions."
i have followed this advice, and "b-spec bob" is now a proficient driver. basically, the more tracks and cars he races, the bettter he gets.
my b-spec stats are:
b-spec mileage: 1624 miles (2347 miles)
drivers overall skill: 6459pts (7078pts)
machine skill: 85
course skill: 68
battle skill: 55
figures in brackets are my aspec figures.
to get your b-spec figures to rise, you have let "bob" use different cars. you cant just use the same car and track over and over, although he will be skilled with that car on that track, it wont improve his stats over time.
also, i have noticed a little glitch with the overtake command on b-spec mode. dont leave it on when he reaches first palce, for some unknown reason it makes him drive slower! once your in front, turn it off and knock your pace down to 4 (5 causes him to make more mistakes)
