Haha, not quite. She had seen the ring earlier in the day, we were sitting infront of the fire after quite a few drinks and she asked me if i'd like to buy it in the morning, wink wink.

After freak outs by certain family members, we have decided to tone it down so it's not an 'official' engagement. But she has a ring and we do want a future together. We are a long time away from tying the knot though.
