No, nothing's wrong with it.
But it's because it's Saturday and my mum won't let me.
I can play almost all day on Friday and Sunday though.
If you change the dates to Friday or Sunday, I can join.

sorry it's too late to change the dates now but if you can ever get in the lobby then you're welcome to join in!

Stpatty
now that you mention it that does seem quite long lol!
Which is the best version of cape ring and how long is a lap of that?

I meant it saying "Eiger Cape Ring." I reckon Cape Ring Outside would be ok, the full thing would be overkill.

I also just took my kart out there for a few trials, it wouldn't let me go on tracks with weather ont hem, does it let you online?

Last question, any restriction on kart numbering?

must be a typo with the eiger thing and I'll change it to periphery.
The change weather tracks are availible online in karts but we'll start the race off sunny where it may get wetter.
There aren't any restrictions over numbering but be imaginative so we don't have everyone driving around with #1, I'm #94 by the way.

I will update the standings here every week and I'll send messages over PSN to people who aren't signed into GTPlanet.

you have to have your brakes on until the start when you can put your foot down. It adds a bit of unpredictability to the start of the race and makes for more overtaking.

Hey this sounds like a great idea! I did 5 laps on the ring in karts and it was a blast. I would like to sign up but probably won't make it to some races.

And what happens when you make a false start?

I'll put your name down, which are the races that you can't make?

Hope you can make it on saturday! :)

Thanks! Ill add your PSN tonight.

Im not sure what races I won't make it to. They start at 3:00 EST for me. A lot of times Im out running errands and other stuff I can't do during the week at that time but I will do my best. I don't care if I win the championship I just want to race other people interested in kart races longer than 10 minutes!

No problem, I hope you can make it to the best races which I think will be:
Eiger Nordwand
Both Autumn Rings
and Nordschleife

these ones will probably involve pit stops.

See you there!

LOL, ya the ring will definitely require pit stops. A kart can make it 3 laps and a couple minutes before completely running out of fuel. I found that out the hard way and had to limp back to the pits for almost an entire lap! Took almost 20 minutes at that speed! lol.

They'll all be interesting though

Yes, looking forward to eiger and the 'ring. No doubt they will all be good though. See ya there!

The Karts are hard enough to drive on some of the smoother tracks. I don't think I've even bothered at the Ring yet.

But that's typically around a 10 minute lap for sports cars (24HR course), so 6 laps is probably going to be at least 1hr 45 minutes.

It's about 1hr 20mins in a kart but that is what makes it challenging

From what I've noticed in my tests so far (admittedly, I've only done Tsukuba), I've found that I'm very thankful for the suspension on my normal cars. The kart bobs up and down at Tsukuba so much you wouldn't think it was a race track.

Some of the bumps at Tsukuba are ridiculous especially the one at dunlop corner. It's not so bad at other cicuits although Autumn Ring and Eiger Nordwand will catch you out if you go off line at certain places.

I'm going to do some testing too but mainly to see if I will need a pit stop and tyre wear over the course of a race.

Does anyone know if fuel adds weight to the kart in this game?

Just a reminder
first race tomorrow however over the last few days there have been some connection problems recently so I may have to have the headset quality on low in order to avoid disconnection.
