Blah ReEdit time...

....The Controller itsself works great as long as you have it toggled to NFS settings. (Which switches L2 and R2 buttons with X and [])

(There is an option for GT settings but don't bother with it because for some reason I feel then the pedals don't receive the full range of sensitivity...I think it has something to do with the controller thinking the pedals are L2 and R2 buttons)

It has a stiff joystick good for super tight turns and a scroll wheel for gradual turns...Sensitivity to a high level is a must for the scroll wheel (I personal have it maxed on 7 more so because I use the scroll wheel most of the time unless turns are ridiculously tight like Monza or Madrid)
The transition from steering from the scroll to the joystick is smooth and easy for your thumb on the fly and you never have to worry about the off-placed D-pad (Unless you map it for your on the fly tuning which some people do...I don't because I make sure everything is off and ready before hand)

Its 30 dollars now at gamestops so you wouldn't be breaking the bank as per se 140 dollar logitech steering wheel. (Although I love my GT Pro...The reason for me owning the HKS is space constraints)

One con for some people is that it is corded......meh that doesn't bother me but some people feel ashamed to use a corded controller for some reason. (The cord is freakishly long...you can play anywhere with that long of a corded controller.)

Type "hks" in the search box. You will find there has been plenty of discussion of this already.
