I miss the function - it was possible in GT5 prologue. Pull both gear shift paddles for neutral. Could properly clutch kick the car into a drift from any revs.
I have been trying to find a way to do this and the only way i have found is a wheel with a H-pattern shifter and clutch pedal. Cant find neutral on controller or with a wheel with only paddles (even if it has a 3pedal setup)!
No neutral but I use handbrake to eg. rev engine without having to stop completely. Which is why the Daily Race (Nur II) has been really punishing, because the cars don't have handbrake, and there's no clutch button, so after a crash which lets face it it's a tough new track, it takes forever to get back on track, esp. due to the cars' bad turning circles at low speed. It's also bad for endurance racing cos to disengage the engine when out of fuel to remove the engine braking I have to use handbrake which robs a bit of speed. Tho it otherwise also turns off the engine so can use it to coast a bit
I really hope clutch is added so we can use it on controller.
Edit - also can't wait for Nur II to be choosable in multiplayer
