Controller Problems

I've been using a DS2 for GT3 and GT4 for almost 2 years now and after shifting so much, the R2/L2 buttons stick and seem to get stuck everytime I try to play. Is there any way to fix this? It's happened on both of my controllers already and I've also tried switching to r1/l1 but couldn't. Any help is greatly appreciated 👍.
 
Drop $25 on a new controller.
Or drop $40 on a Logitech Wireless.
I have one that I just got a few days ago, and I think it is one of the best DS2 type controllers that I have ever used.

Unfortunately, PD did not see fit to allow the shifter function to be changed to the right stick for GT4.
For GT3 I changed the R1 and L1 buttons to Accelerator and brake, and used the right stick for shifting.
It feels odd at first. However, the R1/L1 buttons have more travel than the X and square buttons, giving me more throttle control.

I've noticed this too. My buttons actualy get physicaly stuck behind the plastic. I've lost a few races because of this. I should point out I use R1/L1 for Gas/Brake. A new controller won't help a whole lot. (unless you get the logitech)
