OK, my disk says I have a Gameshark 2 V2, so I'm assuming it really is a V2 not V1.9 and whatnot. I've tried all of these right here and checked multiple times w/ another person reading them to me to make sure I have them correct. I don't know why they do not work for me. I'm trying to use the "Time Freeze" in the licences by pressing L2 while I'm in the course. I try it w/ and w/o the throttle... pretty much everything (I accidentally reset the PS2 while my status was saving and now I have to start over; and using the GS for a boost.)

Why would this not be working for me? I'm assuming that if I have a V1.8 that it would say so on the disc. It says mine was made in 2002 if that means anything.

Not sure why they aren't working. The garage code doesn't seem for version 2 either. Don't know what to tell ya.
 
All I need is the (M) code and whatever code I want on, correct? I'm not sure if i missed something to prep my gameshark, but all I'm doing is entering those two codes (one of the (M) and "Time Freeze") and then starting the game. I then enter the lisences and once it lets me take over the car I press L2... with no results. I'm a bit frustrated since I lost all of my progress this morning. Hours upon hours of gameplay for nothing...
 
Yes you are correct but for whatever reason, some of the codes from version 3 are not working on version 2. Sorry I can't help you out more then this. I haven't had the time to delve into this coding thing deeper. I'm sure there is an explantion or a way to get them to work but someone more knowledgeable on the subject then me would have to have the time to figure it out.

Only thing I can tell you is that I have a version 2 gs and I know for fact that the gold license codes work.
 
I read what you guys posted online.BUT
When I got the codes for my GS V1.9,and loaded them up when I took the GS disc out to put the game's disc in like I used to do with GT3................The game kept telling me that I have no memory card in and it wouldn't let me get into the Gran Turismo mode!!!!!!
Would someone PLEASE tell me what i'm doing wrong
What did I miss????
I have made a lot of hybirds in GT3 with no perblems,and i feel dumbfounded not to be able to simply load the code for GT4 up :indiff: :indiff:
 
I have tried using the converted codes for the 'All Gold B License' and 'Max Cash' along with all three (M) codes available and for some reason nothing happens !?!?

I have an AR2 and PAL version of GT4 (European/UK version).

Any reason they aren't working?

Process followed is:

Create new Game Code within AR2 for GT4 and enter into it the master code and two other codes I am wanting to use (at the moment).
Start the game from the AR2 screen 'With Codes'.
It states it is updating the code list and then asks to enter the game disc and press 'X' to load the game.
The game loads and goes straight into my 'saved game' (had already started playing the game before using the codes, could this be the problem?).
No 'Max Cash' and No 'All Golds' for License B, so clearly hasn't worked.

In order for the codes to work do you have to do it on a 'fresh' profile? Does this mean I need to delete my existing 'save game' and start again? If so, not a problem as I have only played the game for about 1.5 hours so far, so no great loss.

The game is massive and I want to 'race'. I have owned all previous GT games and so don't really want to plod my way through al the licenses, hence wanting that code to work. I am VERY restrained in my use of cash so although I want 'Max Cash', I will be using it very wisely and only allowing myself to buy one 'mod' per 'race' to keep some longevity of the game.

So, any assistance or advice would be great...

All you guys saying that the codes arn't working on my AR2...etc These codes are NOT I repeat NOT for PAL copies of the game. I have tried them, didn't work, tried some PAL codes, they worked fine for me. Make sure you have the correct codes/version of the game.
 
Hey great work here m8 is there any chance you could convert the tire wear code to AR Max PAL/UK?

I found that the (M) code works fine and that also the 'B License' code (single code rather than multiple codes for each test) works ok also, giving all Golds.
Therefore, if you feel the need... I would very appreciative of similar codes for the other licenses.. ;)

As for the 'Max Cash' code, I found that this one didn't work. Any reason you can think of why?
Do you know any other 'Max Cash' codes that work with the UK PAL version and ARv2 ??

I have being trying to get crappy AI on gt4 and I have been using AR MAX to do it but It doesnt work. Is there an enabler code for that too? If there is can someone tell me.

The ARv2 codes you supplied for Cash and Licenses all worked fine... Many thanks for those.. !! ;)

I am now slowly working my way through the beginner races, driving a SEAT Ibiza Cupra (FF), Vauxhall VX220 Turbo (MR & 'Spyder'), Skyline R34 GTR M-spec (purchased with the £100k from GT3) and a Ford F150 (Truck)....
Gentle mods to suspension, drivetrain, brakes and weight to improve handling and then slowly (race by race) purchasing power improvements with the money I win from the races (rather than simply using the 'Max Cash' to buy supercars to race with).

I enjoy the challenge of racing and using 'low performance' cars rather than 'cheating', but I like to have the knowledge that cash is available if I fancy ragging a supercar up and down the Las Vegas strip.. !! ;)

I tried the first 2 license codes on my PAL game and it errors saying these codes are for a different game. I'm assuming the bottom line of each set of codes is the game id? Any help would be brilliant

I can confirm that these all work as I just tried them (saves all the typing at Codejunkies for them). You get awarded the certificates and the cars when you go into GT Mode
 
I'll give these new ones a try now. Thanks for all your hard work, these will definitely save typing in the lengthy codejunkies codes :)

Maybe I missed it in the thread but what about gs v4? Another quick but very important question, none of these codes will corrupt our save, will it? that would be :yuck: :crazy: 👎 :dunce: :ouch: ...anyways, :cheers:
 
I've used the ARMax PAL codes I made without a problem so there should be no problem with the AR2V2 PAL codes. They are basically the same as the Codejunkies ones but are simplified to one code per license.

Does anyone need the American ARMax codes done the same way or done as AR2V2/GS2V2 codes?
 
It doesnt matter about the AI codes now becuase I have just completed the last of the driving missions after 2 hours of pure solid non stop racing and practice!!
 
can anyone turn me in the right direction of some working codes i have tryed all of these in this thread and nothing. i have check them 6 times to make sure i entered them right. btw i have a gs v1.9
 
:) hey guys i just got gt4 last monday i ahve managed to get the Ib license im at the last test for the Ia but i have gs2 v2 and i realy wat to know if the codes posted earlier realy work speacilay the cash and license codes if they do which ones should i use

i need the cash code and the license code and the must be on code thats works

i got the gs2 v2 codes to work some of them anyhow ... now im running ointo a problem ... my game crashes after i enter the codes and then the gs resets the entries they arent even there ... WTF?!

im entering the alternate M
all licences and the tune shop ... thats all


why me ...
