Cool Edit Pro Dynamics Processing and Reverb advice

I have not used Cool Edit Pro 2.1 in ages but having to use it again to edit all my audio productions like radioplays for the time being whilst my other computer gets a check up and upgrade.

Well I know first I always tend to use noise reduction and other stuff before using compression on my audio files to make sure they sound clean and good. Now I need some tips and advice on dynamics processing and reverb options in Cool Edit Pro 2.1.

So I was asking for anyone who uses Cool Edit Pro what "dynamics processing" personal settings do you use to make the audio stand out and sound a bit more professional. Screenshots and instructions would be useful and yes I do know you should really only do it on vocals tracks only or if mixing a song use it on individual instruments.

Also would like some "reverb" advice to make the audio tracks blend with the vocals to make them stand out and sound crisp and clear. In addition, am I right reverb is useful on low quality vocal recordings? Again screenshots, instructions and personal settings would be useful.

Thanks in advance....

I don't know if you're still interested; a few years ago I did a huge amount of mixing and things with CEP. If you want some ideas, you could give me a PM. Or maybe just post some more details here.
