As we are getting closer to the main event there are some things that need some practice.
The start is one thing that cannot be wrong, so we are going to have 2 2h races with a full warm-up lap.

These races will be on the 25th and 27th Feb. Times for the races will be announced later.
The Starting Driver of each team must take part in at least one of these races since there are several procedural elements to understand (details of these later). These are practice races only so points will not be awarded.

question , will RS be allowed again in those 2 practise races ? I hope not , and I first found out after the last race that it where allowed :) The room settings for the main race , is that the settings that can be found on page 1 ? And it would be nice too know the room settings for the 2 practise races too .....

The tyres which are shown in the OP are the tyres that are available to be used during all races.

We should have the info for the practice races up by the end of the week. And the settings for the main race will still basically the same as the VLN races

Ty for all this , but I for 1 would love too know the track seetings for both the qualifier and the race , as its very difficult too prepare for something you dont have a clue about ;) And I must admit that I dont understand why it hasn`t been posted with so little time left before it all starts ?

If you look at settings for the VLN races so far, you will notice that 99% of the room settings dont change. The only thing that does change is the time and weather. In qualifying there will be realistic fuel and tyre wear, because you never do a qualifying session in real life on tyres that never wear and a fuel tank that never runs dry ;) For the race itself, the races is 24 hours long with changing weather, so I would suggest that you practice at all times of the day and in all weather conditions.

First I want to say that this looks really promising and I hope its even bigger than before.

Important Announcement for all Drivers and Team Managers

- Please remember that each teams driver lineups must be finalised by 11:59pm on Thursday, March 3. Each team should have a current line up in the OP of their Team Conversation, it is up to the Team to confirm this line up is still correct or inform me of any changes to the driver line up by this time.

- Also please remember that all teams must nominate their drivers for each qualifying session by 11:59pm on Thursday, March 3, by either filling in the sign ups at the bottom of the post, or in the format just below in their teams conversation.

The following information is in regards to qualifying itself:

-Qualifying sessions will be 90 minutes long.

- Due to the PSN issues that have been arising recently, I have made the decision to allow only ONE driver per a team to take part in each qualifying session. There will be 5 sessions in total which gives all teams an opportunity to qualify all their drivers for the race.

- All drivers taking part in a qualifying session must pay attention to this thread before the room opens for their relevant session. The room host will be calling for drivers to enter the room 1 by 1 until everyone is in the room.

- No car is permitted to leave pit lane before the room host announces the Qualifying session has begun.

- Only the drivers taking part in the session and approved officials will be allowed to enter the room.

- The qualifying sessions will take place in the practice mode, allowing anyone who Disconnects the opportunity to rejoin if they do so without any delays to the session itself.

- Fuel and Tyre wear will be set to normal. There is no limit on Tyre compounds.

- For all sessions, the weather will be set to 0%, Surface water at 0% and the weather will be fixed. This will give all sessions a level playing field.

- The track time for all sessions will be set to 15:00. Again, this is to create a level playing field.

- All drivers must be aware of the rules and regulations, especially in regards to the track limits. There is only one or 2 areas where this can occur and stewards will be keeping an eye over proceedings and if they see anyone abusing the track limits without lifting and coasting and gaining a time advantage they will have the right to call a lap invalid.

-Make sure you capture stint pictures at the start of the session, every time you enter pit lane, and at the end of the session.

-Once the 90 minute session is finished, the room host will announce the Chequered Flag in the textbox, and either the room host or a steward will drive the safety car out onto the track, parking at the end of the first sector after turns 1 and 2. All cars are to complete the lap they are on and park behind the safety car before taking their final stint photo.

The DART + Avalerion/Hyperion/WRS car is looking rather lethal. I was already worried about dealing with the metronomic consistency and total lack of unscheduled pitstops, and now I have nothing to worry about because they will be so far ahead while they make no extra pitstops that I won't see it all race anyway!
